I like Hybrid Theory in race 1 at Bathurst today at around $2.80. Trialled up nicelly in the lead up to this. It's a 2YO maiden. The danger is the stable mate Paperscissorsrock. Hope I've found the right B Baker runner

I’ll be having a nibble at Homesman if he comes up 50s. Was super first up over the mile last prep.

Interested to see how he goes away fro Macedon. His best is pretty good.

Glad I was on the right Baker horse.

Did the track beat it in BD or was Tagaloa just too good?

Would be hard not to think the track didn't play at least some role. And BD placegetters have turned the form around in the Slipper in the past without too much trouble.

According to Dom Beirne’s computer algorithms Hanseatic ran to a new PB. Also had the fast lane to its advantage.

Most of these 2-3yo's G1's that's the case for all the placegetters. Seems logical enough for him, genuine tempo, good ride, advantage of the rail. His few starts previous he was dictated too. I'd be reasonably confident that's his top but Cummings last year got Microphone to win a G1 with his 6th start post christmas. Kiamichi's GS was start 5. Still think that's about him though, would be reasonably easy to price in the slipper. If anything with a very slight penalty below saturdays run.

I cant wait til the Australian Guineas, probably looking forward to this race more than any race in years. Still missing Super Seth and Castlevecchio the weak pricks. Does look like a lack of pace again though. Hopefully the barrier draw works out so there has to be speed on.
