Yet I'm a Carlton supporter through and through.
I dont hate Collingwood, but the AFL supporter within me wishes for them to get smashed
The reason I dont like Judd and Fev is because EVERY carlton supporter like them. Fevs got an drinking + on-field attitude problem, and I dont like it.
I dislike Judd, because JK was one of my favourite players, and Judd was responsible for him getting traded.
And same goes for Thomas. EVERY single girl in my school absolutely love him. You cannot get a conversation about footy with them unless it relates to him.
So I just dont like him. For me, flashy stuff doesnt cut it.
YES he takes excellent marks and YES he kicks awesome goals, but being in the school environment that I'm in, im just sick of him, therefore resulting in an unfair hatred.
Bit is there a problem with me having favourites that dont play for the blues?
I LOVE buddy, hes awesome. Awesome enough for me to wear my badge of his with all my carlton stuff on at the blues v Hawks match.
And whats so bad about Pavlich and Cloke? Or is it just the fact that they're all forwards, and yet I dont like Carltons gun forward in the name of Fevola?

The favourite moments of the season were CARLTON moments.
So as a Carlton supporter, seeing the pies take us to the 8 was an enjoyable experience.

But read this

Before last year, i never really got to go to footy matches (was lucky if it was once in two years), and now its my weekly routine.
Last year i went to my first AFL match in ages, and it was that one that i got to umpire that auskick kids at half time. Whilst i didnt know it back then, it was Koutas last match (round 17), of course, Ratts' first game as coach, and matty lappins 250th.
It was then i got the enjoyment of being there amongst the crowd, and was aloud to go to afew more matches.
Honestly, i didnt care who was playing, and ended up going to collingwood matches and cheering on the tigers to one of their few wins of the year.
Footy makes me happy. Nomatter what, win lose or draw, whether our team is playing or not, its what i live on.
And i dont know what i'd do without it.

I was cheering on the Tigers because they were the underdogs, and the fact that my pa was with me, so I just cheered for them in annoyance to him
But that there states that I love footy, no matter whos playing, and aslong as I'm able to go to matches, Carlton or Collingwood, it makes me happy.
And just for the record, when I went to the Collingwood/Melbourne match this year, I was cheering on the pies the whole way.

I don't even know who I want as a buddy next year..... My left Atrium says Goldsack again, but the left Ventrical says Thomas, and then the right Atrium says O'Brien, but the right Ventrical says Reid......
Now, don't get me started on what all the parts of my brain are saying.....

if you guys will do it again - obviously it wasnt a massive success in 07 other than few posters like snag, mag, and pag (pie eyed), but what are the ideas to improve?

snag mentioned that the aim was only to provide updates and it is not really for discussions. i think it should be tho

i think the best buddy boards on bigfooty is the brisbane. they call it roster watch and it is well updated and they use that forum for updates AND discussions about players throughout the season. it is very well organised. so we can get jabso's help and make it a rule. so instead of people going onto the main board and making a thread titled 'Cloke' and asking some silly question they just go into the cloke thread and see all the updates and ask their question their

I have gone the whole hog for next year and got a website on freewebs.
I will just post links in the "buddy forum".
I decided to do this because the thread is too limited in what you can post and how it is maintained.
In a website I can keep each weeks reports in an archive on separate pages, so you can easily navigate around.
Also it lets me add flash content, sound grabs and pretty well anything else I like.

The site is "flash" based and hope to have it up and running before draft week.

i have watched these to play, jack is tough fast, good skills and has a great tackle, xavier is more evasive and also has good skills, also has a bit of pace. does anyone believe they could get picked up coz i do?
