If it was distributed to other charities, where is that on the expenditure sheet?
That’s because it isn’t there
Your expenditure sheet is from a year and a half ago and Rosie Batty stepped down this week. That might be why this contingency plan they are running isn't on their report from June 2016??

One must have serious issues to demonise the woman who worked to get a nation to have a conversation about DV - because as she said “no one could deny it happened”.
Yet Batty made a point of demonising, blaming 'men' and drumming up meaningless equality hype instead of focusing on culture and mental health factors which are a lot more important in addressing domestic violence.

BTW for every domestic assault in a middle class home in Australia there's 25 in an indigenous community.

They didn’t release a 2016-2017 one despite pressures to do so

The money will be distributed to charities dealing with dv.

Edit: statement from CEO

The Foundation has ceased receiving donations and is developing a plan to wind up operations. The Board has appointed a transitional Chief Executive Officer to manage this process. It will include completion of current projects, an assessment of whether other longer-term projects should be reconsidered and the distribution of funds to appropriate not-for-profit family violence initiatives in line with the purpose of the Foundation.

One must have serious issues to demonise the woman who worked to get a nation to have a conversation about DV - because as she said “no one could deny it happened”.

And yes, cretins she is a victim of DV. She’s the worst kind of victim.
No one is demonizing her, they're are quite rightly demonizing the campaigners that took advantage of a woman who was very emotionally vulnerable to push an agenda that quite simply doesn't even hit the core of the issue.

Read Mitchell Madness link. It was a scam.

Its quite disgusting how the lefty media have buried why the Battie foundation closed.
The public has a right to know with all the taxpayer money donated.

Years of financial mismanagement and abusive and controlling behavior from Saint Rose..How ironic

I am sure Bolt will be onto it soon enough.

One of the many causalities by fems war on men, are teachers and male students in Australia. Male teachers will soon go the way of the dodo.

A friend of mine graduated in education and will not be given a job, other than as a relief teacher because he is a man. The questions he gets at interviews are more like an interrogation to see if he is a pedophile and nothing to do with all his qualifications.
What do you like about children?
Why did you choose a profession dealing with children?
What are your views on physical contact with a student?
Would you hug a student that is upset?

Society is going to be in a real mess in the future if all teachers are female and all for womens rights as they are now. Boys will stop graduating at an even more rapid rate, than they are now.
It is not just teaching industry though. All government agencies are turning female with quotas needing to be met. Where I work, it is 80% female in a government agency and yet all new interviews are targeting women. With 3/4 of interviews being female, out of a 1000 applicants.

Anti-men critics are driving male teachers to extinction

I'll bet you my first week of pay that I'll not only have a contract in the year subsequent to finishing my teaching study, but that I'll have multiple offers.

Stay strong fellas. They have no choice but to keep us around as long as we retain our god given ability to move couches and kill spiders (Unless Elon Musk invents an AI couch moving robot with an insect repellent attachment)

The tide will eventually turn, and our revenge will be terrible when we take it.

A very good friend of mine was without a year position as the school he was at hadn't got one after they had gone through their staff requirements due to permanent staff returning from things like maternity leave. Was in a new position very quickly in a primary school.

Just anecdotal and maybe there's a good reason that I was never aware of, but I felt I missed a teacher's assistant position due to my gender. There were three of us working at a language school while studying, with two permanent positions available once we'd finished our course. I was a gun. Great rapport with the kids in and out of the classroom. I spent every recess and lunch time out on the playground, mostly playing basketball with the kids but also intervening to break up fights in the playground, stop bullying, check on kids that seemed upset, etc. The two chubby housewives spent all that time having cuppas and biccies in the staff room. I had years of actual teaching experience overseas (although not actually qualified to teach in Australia) and was also volunteering as a tutor. Guess who missed out on a job.

Like I said, there may have been a deciding factor that I wasn't aware of, but the staff was about 80% female including principal and vice-principal and I think getting along well with the other ladies in the staff room was rated higher than getting along well with the kids. Or maybe I was just getting along too well with the kids and people were suspicious or something.

Study the story, so you keep your new job and don't end up in jail or fired.
Oh I'll get fired at some point. Probably won't be long before I tell a principal to choke on a male appendage for handing out participation certificates to all the kids or something petty like that.

I think the education system falls short in some areas. I don't think there's any evidence to suggest it's anti-male at all though. It's simply a numbers game - more females study teaching and apply for jobs.

Those women would only have to whisper to the principal, that you are a bit too friendly with the children. And out in the playground every day would highlight that even more.

I wonder if ShanDog will have a story like this in the years to come? ShanDog, you better stay in the staffroom having "cuppas and biccies."

Its more of a Primary School issue isn't it?

I think there are plenty of male high school teachers.
The male with young children stigma going all guns blazing unfortunately. Know a male who is a kindergarten teacher and they had a conference in Adelaide for them last weekend. There are apparently just into double digits in terms of numbers which gives you an indication.

So do you agree it's the same numbers game (in reverse) for STEM occupations? Because I keep hearing its the evil male patriarchy holding women back.

There's a push to get more women into STEM (against their will which amuses me greatly) I don't see government programs aimed at getting more male nurses and teachers.

“I was a gun” even if you do say so yourself?

Yep, same situation but reversed.
