It's good he is training today.

Yes I agree. Straight back into it Fev. Holiday is over!!

Interesting that the footy club have decided not to punish him further, however, they did elaborate and say, "no fines and no suspensions." They didn't mention anything about leadership duties??

Definately a good thing that they are going to, "support him and assist him going forward" as well.

The only way I would punish him is to send him to an alcohol rehab course or something.

He needs to get off the drink for good.

I wouldn't rule out punishing him yet in concern with leadership, just see how he works for the next couple of months. He could be a vice-captain yet.

for me, this incident put him back to square 1 with everything to prove all over again. The fact that he will get straight down to training, earlier than required is the first step (and a very good step) in getting back the respect he built up.

didn;t think they would Punish him i think he did it himself ;) i'm sure they wanted to put it behind them and get on with preseason training :thumbsu:
no good worrying over it dont' want it to effect fevs Performance
i bet theres alot worse then what Fev Did i Suspect the BArman made it sound alot worser then it really was, anyone can make up stories like that

I think the club was 'sort of' glad he got sent home...

this way there was no risk of him getting injured in the second game since he could not play.

Pagan was quite relieved that the 3 blues in the IR squad came home safe and uninjured.

I bet the CFC coaches were giving each other high fives when Fev was sent home as alcohol abuse they can try to control, whereas Fev getting injured in Ireland was beyond their control.

This above point brings upon a question... should we use a current coach (Sheedy) as the coach of the IR squad?

Why I ask this question, I bet you any money that any Essendon player on the squad would of been babied and perhaps not let to go as wild as the non-essendon players... also Sheedy could put some non-essendon players in certain 'situations' on field during the games and training.... if you know what I mean.

Not that I think Sheedy would do it, but when I heard 3 of our boys were going up to Ireland I did have this thought in my head.

doubt he started it anyway takes to to Tango ;)
glad he didn;t play either not with the punch ups before and during the game
sounds like they don't want to play against us anymore according to the Herald Sun yesterday Back Page in the country edition hope they scap the crap game not worth it
