Neither. I'm a huge fan of the man as a footballer which means I won't be booing him. Could only ever cheer him in a neutral match, certainly not against Carlton.

Admiration and tears might flow if he puts on a show, though.
I will be booing like a mofo!! although i love him deep down:D

Definitely won't be booing Fev. Yeah he fu*ked up but the man was a champion and gave us many years of great service. Have to say though, seeing him line up against us in Brisbane colors will be like seeing an ex with someone else..

Neither, Cheering a guy playing against your club is ****ing ridiculas. No matter who the guy is, booing is also wrong, the gu did so much for our club, and i (we) loved him for so long, it would be as if, the only supporters who boo him, will be the guys who have no idea about our football club. The only logical thing to do, would bring a shitload of rocks, and just pelt like there is no tommorow

Treat him on how he conducts himself on the day. If he's being an absolute tool in any way then yeah, give it to him. If he's respectful to the players and supporters then he should be treated with respect.

I cheer anybody when they do something exceptional. Be it a good goal/tackle/mark. Last year v Adelaide when Burton was it took that mark everybody around at the Odin gasped and applauded. So if Fev kicks a good goal etc I may applaud him but otherwise no. As for booing maybe not but if he is in ear shot I will let him know what I think of him and what he did to CFC!

He's still a favourite amongst the Carlton faithful, and it wasn't like he walked out of the club. He was all but sacked by the club, so I suspect the supporters will treat him accordingly.

Will be a pretty special afternoon on Friday should he line up for the Lions.

Defiantly pay my respects, but if he starts giving it to any of the players or supporters, then it’s alls fair in love and war, but hopefully he play’s the same as he does against Saints as they are good buddies of Fev’s! If he does have a blinder! Good on him, my guess is once vossy see’s any signs of a good structure, in his game plan he‘ll play for about 2 quarters and a bit max!:):thumbsu:

Pointless jeering him really, and i can't see myself jumping out of my seat to cheer him either. I still like the guy and will be happy to see him perform elsewhere.

Why the hell would you guys boo him he didnt leave the club on his own terms.. Do your supporters have a clue?.. You should be dissapointed for his actions but not boo him.. Silence would be a more appropriate reaction.. If he played up and gave the crowd pleanty then yea sure boo him..

Didn't want to leave and is repeatedly on record as saying so.
Maybe he should have considered that before acting like a complete moron whilst on his final chance with the club. It's totally his fault he was moved on.

Good point, let me rephrase. Only respecful "golf type" claps. And only on occaisions
English cricket crowd type claps maybe? That would have been my response if I were there.

In a similar way to why my nephew Boos Cousins.
He had Cuz's number proudly on the back of his WC jumper and was gutted that he Cuz let him down.
I MIGHT boo Fev for the broken hearted kids that even bought his bloody book for god's good sake. To the kids that idolised him and were always "Big Fev" or "Fevalinko" in the backyard kicking the ball around.
It is the kids I boo for
DON'T EVER FORGET THE KIDDIES

Don't have a problem with Fev. He wore his heart on his sleeve for Carlton and in his good moments was as good as any in the Navy Blue. Had he ever found emotional stability he may have been one of the all time greats of the VFL/AFL. Think that his demise was as much about the environment at Carlton as it was about Fev's issues. So really Carlton cannot be too much of a victim to Fev and should wish him well.
