Perhaps I am a moron but if Fev was there cheap I would at least want Carlton to consider it. Fev has his issues but in the right environment he may find himself. Carlton was not a great environment and perhaps still is not. However if the Club keeps cleaning up it's issues then it may be strong enough to handle Fev in a way beneficial to both parties.

Almost no way, but if he came cheap and was willing to prove himself by playing 11 or so games with the Bullants as a trial test, then would almost consider it

Having him back though would make the club look a little silly, after taking a moral stand in trading him, we take him back on the cheap

Also, not sure how Fev would fit into our forward line now, a Fev forward line really requires Fev dominating it (worked with Brown for a while but after that Fev didn't know where to run ...), and I'm pretty happy with the way the boys are sharing it round up forward at the moment

With strict conditions and without costing us anything i'd consider it but i doubt highly that it would happen. Keen to hear the facts though on what actually happened at the weekend.

Would have beaten the Swans with him up forward on the weekend !

If there is anything behind this - and that is a big if at this stage - then there is no hope for the guy. If getting cut from Carlton, the fall out from Lara Bingle, the gambling issues, broken marriage etc was not a wake up call, i can't imagine how he could ever get his life back on track.....of course there is no information on the nature or the validity of this indiscretion, and you would have thought there is only so much damage you could do at a family day, but seriously.....

This :thumbsu:

Not this :o

Compare last years mad Monday to this years and see how far we've come as a professional outfit without this dill.

I highly doubt it, Fev is a bigger dud kick than any of our forwards and it was poor goal kicking and an insipid performance by our midfield in the first half that cost us the game.

Your club wouldn't even think for the most brief second to get him back.. This issue now (let's assume it's true for the reason that it would be the only way he would be available anyway) is exactly why they went through with the huge thing of kicking him out..

And no way should you get him back.. Move on, back in your younger ones.. They're the future, not this nutcase..

Lions investigate Brendan Fevola complaint

Lions investigate Brendan Fevola complaint as AFL star's future hangs in balance
"Respect and responsibility towards women is something that this club thinks is non-negotiable. We feel that the allegation is a very serious one and we think if the behaviour is as described, then it's unacceptable behaviour for anyone in football," Bowers said.

"While everyone is entitled to the presumption of innocence, the Brisbane Lions Football Club wants to make clear it is taking this incident seriously and feels the only proper course of action is to suspend Brendan immediately from all club activity until such time as the AFL and police have had an opportunity to investigate the matter further.

"The Club will continue to cooperate fully with the AFL and any Queensland police investigation."

"As a result of the suspension, Brendan will not be attending our Club Champion event tomorrow night."

An idiot wouldn't be going through this again after there were allegations about Fevola's actions at Crown last year.

What a nong.

I'm sure the AFL will come down hard on Fevola using their respect towards women policy.

This is bigger than Tuck recording his third strike.

And Tuck was suspended for 12 weeks.

We can't take him back.

It's an emphatic no from me.

We have done so well out of this Fev situation it isn't funny; we were very lucky and can ill afford to take him back now.

On a side note, Fev hasn't been to many club vote counts recently has he :p

I hope like sh*t he can get it together for his young family but he just continues to mess up.

His footy career is probably the least of his real concerns right now, needs to get himself and his life on track.

Send him to Richmond, he can take them down like Cousins did.
 Only see that was a good result all round or did I miss something?

Definite no to Fev coming back you'd have to be dumber than him for even thinking it. Hope he does end up at the Woods though.

The AFL insisted he had to leave Victoria - won't be letting him back after this. People questioned CFC accepting Rischitelli/Bradshaw deal but at the time they had no option.

The update sounds more like he was getting a HJ Kingswood in his car, and the angry hubby made the complaint. This is what panel vans were invented for decades ago people.

What would Voss look like in a wig and dress anyway?
