Maybe the board should sack themselves if that's a pre-requisite.
And sack the recruitment department...
The coach...

Brisbanes statement said "persistent and serious breaches of contract" were why he was sacked. What business is it of yours?

the members would want to know what the real reasoning was for his sacking
Brisbane young gun Tom Rockliff says Lions players would welcome back wayward full forward Brendan Fevola with open arms.
"With Fev coming out of rehab it will be interesting times for the club. We've prepared to have him and not to have him, so if he plays Round 1 or even throughout the season, it would be fantastic," Rockliff said.
"It's fantastic news for Brendan and everyone at the club (that Fevola is leaving rehab). All the boys have been there for him.
"He's (Fevola) still got a long road ahead of him but he's definitely making the right steps forward."
Pathetic!
THE AFL has confirmed it will give the Brisbane Lions financial assistance following the decision to sack troubled forward Brendan Fevola.
AFL footballer operations manager Adrian Anderson confirmed this afternoon the Lions would get some salary cap relief for Fevola's huge payout. The former Blue is believed to be owed $1.9 million over the next two years. Anderson also said the league would give Brisbane further financial assistance, but denied the league had encouraged the Lions to sack Fevola.

So because I support another club I'm not allowed to ask questions? "What business is it of yours" comes across as very defensive. I think Brisbane are a good club, usually quite like them. But the people in charge are coming across incredibly poorly. They're being asked simple questions and failing to answer them. That suggests they have something to hide. That intrigues me.I would indeed like to know, but just wondering why Essendon supporters are so concerned, or how it is their business?
Sacking a bloke with clinical depression whilst he is receiving treatment is a dogs act.

and yet Jonathon Brown said at the press conference that Fev had lost the playing groups trust.
I simply find it amusing when random onlookers demand intimate details that really are none of their business.

The bit in bold is not in the article. Did you make it up for a bit of sensationalism?
Fevola's contract had two years left to run, so I don't see why it's a problem for the payout figure to be spread over that period. The AFL allowed St Kilda to do the exact same thing with Lovett.
"Gossip" isn't directly asking questions. It isn't following up on official statements and asking what's meant by them.Yep, often it's the same people who decry the media for being gossipy and intrusive who then hypocritically howl that it is unfair when they are denied access to information that is none of their business.
