Yeah, but that information isn't going to come out. Why can't you see that?

Of course. And if that hadn't happened, they'd be taking us to court. Assuming the article I read is correct, that is virtually no chance of that happening.
Incidentally, if this does end up in court, we will probably find out what the breaches of contract were, as they will be used as evidence that the Fev was unable to 'fulfill his obligations as a player'.
BRISBANE's clumsy handling of Brendan Fevola's sacking effectively has invited the discarded star to take his case to the AFL Grievance Tribunal.
Yet Fevola and his management company, Velocity, still haven't been advised of the reasons for his sacking.
If they satisfactorily outlined to Fev's management and the AFLPA the reasons for his sacking, they could have said, for example "The reasons for his sacking have been made clear to him. He can tell you what they are".
But they didn't. Nobody knows.

"We're sacking you and not paying out your contract"If you had listened to the club President at the presser you would know that he has declined to give details of the reasons at present but will at a later date PROVIDED Fev and his management agree to that....and (hopefully) you wouldn't be posting this uninformed rubbish.

I'm conflicted. I don't trust the Herald Sun at all, but Caro's a proven liar. Here it is.
If you get a chance, read this post in regards to the payout/salary sum by whataboutbob. Will give you a good insight into the guesswork going on by the media on this.
Obviously, none of the articles posted should be taken as gospel, but being the optomist I am, I would like to think the one I posted is accurate considering you posted from the HUN and mine is from the Age![]()
I can see it. Others are still allowed to ask.

Would of thought asking once was enough though.

"We're sacking you and not paying out your contract"
"Oh really. Why?"
"Oh...umm....we'll tell you later"
That absolutely reeks credibility.
What's also interesting is that reading the articles, they've pretty much written directly contrasting articles. Plot thickens.Yeah, they're all a bunch of tosspots really.
Wilson's article assumes/assures that Fev will be paid out in full, which is not what Brisbane said yesterday.
Re: contract amount. Critical reading of all articles would suggest that Fev was to receive $1.1M in 2011 ($1M from Brisbane, $100k from Carlton) and $400k (all from Brisbane) in 2012.
Fevola was due to receive a further $1.79 million for 2011-12 - $570,000 this year and a whopping $1.22 million next year.
Not on BF.
Anyway do you think Brisbane will free up cap space next season by sacking Fevola?

PS I feel a bit sick for referencing a Mike Sheahan article in my earlier post.

Anyone know what the exact discretion in the trip to China was? Its been reported as like 3 different things now and in all honesty, a sneeze would of been a bigger discretion than any of whats been rumored so far
For a footballer that probably is a sackable offence. He got wasted at a organised event the entire team was present at. Got kicked out for getting in a fight with a guy and his girlfriend. Next morning he and 3 other players missed a team meeting is basically what they are saying
If thats a sackable offense half of Australia will be out of a job by the end of the month

In that case whataboutbob you have 3 more players left to sack I think.
In isolation I doubt it is a sackable offense, but termination becomes an option when the breaches become persistent and willful, or the behaviour continues for more than 2 weeks after a written notice.
