So he is so devoid of priorities that he is posting on every social media outlet, some vague query to allude to him being available?
My cousin's girlfriend's neighbour's nephew read somewhere that someone thought there is a rumour that Eddie Macguires pool cleaner heard from the postman that he saw on twitterface that Didak quit the pies this morning. Must be true.

Carlton should take Fevola back they own him a lot in the years.They could have won close to a decade of spoons well at least 5 in a row.Brad Fisher should have got 1 more game for his 100 also to go on to his locker .Oh well probably got a ass to his face instead well it's a change room full with full moons.

There is no need to record the litany of problems that Fev has experienced, half the news outlets in Australia seem to have several staff responsible for this as their fulltime jobs.

On his game Fev is a rare talent who can change the course of a match and bring people through the gates. if he plays again he does not have many seasons left in his career.

Personally I would prefer to see the Lions retain Fev and honour his contract. Probably he doesn't deserve that loyalty but that would be my preference. That course of action is not a no risk or even a low risk strategy. Fev now doesn't have the links and supports in Brisbane with his family back in Melbourne.

Fev has made many mistakes in his career but he has not been well managed and has been allowed to do what he wanted when he wanted. Even David Parkin has talked about people including himself not doing the right thing by Fev.

Voss has a chance to show that he has substance and can take on difficult issues. He can become a real coach by taking on the challenge that is Fev. Perhaps he could have a yarn with Wayne Bennett who I have heard describe his role as a coach "of growing responsible young men who he has for only part of their life."

The Lions can show what it really means to be part of a football club and that it is much more than what happens on the field.

Sadly though I think that the Lions will take the easy way out and sack Fev. This means that they will waste his contract by paying it out and then they can try and convince themselves he is not their problem any more. And they will be wrong!

I hope there is another chapter to the Fev story where he does get to play again because if there isn't I fear for him.

As I had suspected, Sheeds has ruled out luring Fev to GWS.

The NFL has some merit, I could see Fev in his element in the circus over there. He would not enjoy the meager 2 minutes of field time each game, but I'm sure he'd love the environment.

Fev is simple man with complex issues.

At Carlton it was always said that when he had problems with his partner Alex he went off the rails so when she decamped back to Melbourne he was stuffed and the clock was ticking.

At least he will get approx $1.5m to clean up the mess he has created and give himself a start in life. Whether he has the ability to take it is another thing. Can't see him playing footy ever again at AFL level but you never know, if someone is short a FF for a flag shot they might take the chance but with the damage he can do to your 'brand' it seems unlikley.

In fact, he's an idiot. I wish people would stop feeling sorry for this guy. He's had more chances at the brass ring in life than most can ever dream of and he's blown them all.

Then, after all this, he walks away with $1.4million to "help get his life back on track". How about all the other people doing it tough in this country, where's their $1.4million?

I suppose it depends on your point of view.

Maybe he'd be better off playing for peanuts for a lower league club and having to get a real job, or perhaps he'll thrive in an anonymous environment as a third string kicker, still making a reasonable wage.
