I think you are missing the point. He probably could have pissed on the building at 10pm at night and it wouldnt have been an issue. The fact he was (most likely) blind and out at 4:30am 5 days before our first match is the real issue.
so if fevola f***s up again he will be sacked from the carlton football club ? looks like swan is serious that would indicate to me that he will be gone next season for sure.

I was told he was at his restaurant with his wife until 2am, and then just having some post work drinks. tough gig to fit in with being a sports star, but maybe there was a reason for being up late.

Surely telling an umpire hes shit (Hird) isnt quite as bad as: bashing up a bartender...while drunk,
speeding 20Km over the limit in a school zone, and then
pissing on a shop window and arguing with the security...while drunk.
I know he got 'punished' for those misdemeanors, but he got off lightly.

Well if the 'kids' do think that (And by kids, we're talking about guys about 20ish, but lets pretend that they're 13 and can't think for themselves) then they will know they can only get away with it by being the best player at the club...I have no problems with them all aspiring to be the best player at our club

Well mate, ive just turned down a job that would have me earining over 200k by the time I'm that age, is that close enough?
Money isn't everything mate, it certainly wasn't enough to change me as a person, so lets not pretend that we would all become saints if we were offered that money - you are who you are.
What I care about is winning games, fev isnt bringing a gun onto the field and shooting the other players to win, so lets get some perspective.
