i will be STUNNED if carlton get rid of him, reckon its all a ruse to keep up the public pesona that they are taking this very seriously when in actual fact they really couldn't give a shit and are only concerned about 1 thing, a premiership which is not possible without fev.

What chance this......

1. Fevola is told at the meeting that he will be PUT UP for trade. Announce to media.
2. At trade week, a few teams want him, Sydney, Dogs, Hawks etc.
3. Carlton demands are ridiculous, they want 2 top 10 picks.
4. Fev is not traded as no team will pay that.
5. Carlton take him back and they appear to have saved face.
6 In 2010 Fev lets loose again..., Carlton refer back to point 1.

I'd take him in the PSD....get him for one year...then trade him to GC...they'll need big name players...in fact even if we don't trade him...we can just let them take him as our "uncontracted player", therefore protecting any uncontracted players we really need from their raids...:thumbsu:

He still has 2 years on his contract and would need to be payed out.:thumbsd:

Well he was either drunk again or he's full of shit one way or the other, because I've heard him say he followed Richmond and read articles where both he and his best mate since childhood, Chris Newman said it...:confused:

Maybe he jumped ship as he got older...who knows....the bloke's a fool...

I was joking about getting him...hell I e-mailed and even rang the club asking them not to get him when it seriously looked like we were going for him a few years back...would be a disaster at Richmond so many levels...

The guy is a tool, but in all honesty he's almost kicked more goals on his own than our entire forward line in the last 2 years

Hes kicked 185 or so in 2 seasons, would love him at the club regardless of his drunken antics, you can change a persons attitude, but if they dont have the talent their no good,

what he did was plain stupid but funny at the same time, i think he needs to be sacked, you cant give a bloke 100 2nd chance but they will keep him,
if they do get rid of him would you want him at richmond?
i know people who would because him,morton,nahas,richo,riewoldt,hislop and post sounds like a pretty good forward line

but i dont want him just because he is fev.
 
DEFINATELY NOT COMING TO RICHMOND!!!
He's too old, so doesn't fit into our plans.
We would still have to give up our 1st rounder..
I'm not prepared to give up anything for him to come to Tigerland.
 
I would be all for Fev making a move down to Richmond. Just imagine where Richmond could have been in the last 2 years with an extra 185 goals. We would have made the eight in 08 and who knows what would have happened in 09.

He may be a fool, but he is a guy who can win you games off his own boot. Richo, Fev, Riewoldt, Morton in the forward does sound pretty good and combined could kick atleast 200 goals for the season. The guy probably needs a change, fresh club and what not. Players have made the move and done exceptionally well, who says Fev can't.

Would you be all for giving up pick 3 for a 29 year old who will not be around when/if we are in a position to challenge for a flag, whilst pick 3 is starring for Carlton.
Because thats what it would cost and anybody who would do it has shit for brains
 
What they want and what they will get are two different things. Would you take him if he went into the PSD? If yes, doesn't he then take a spot on the list for a youngster.....
If your hoping Richmond to challenge a flag in the next 10 yrs , then there's no point of having a few others on the list... If the chance comes up go for him, and make a real go for the finals next year... I have no problems rebuilding, but it doesn't guarentee you anything, sometimes it's all about having the right people at the right time.

fev followed st.kilda, newman Melbourne...neither are purebreds..end of story

fev is on a downward spiral and unless Punt rd has suddenly become sacred heart mission then im sorry there's no place for him. Move on

Gotten to the blues to the finals and will probably be in the finals for the next couple of seasons, i can confidently say i dont think we would have gone backwards and finished 15th if Fev was in the side, we all go on about us wanting Jack, Cleve of Hughes to stand up, Fev is that ready made player we could have used,

and of course Cam Mooneys a horrible player, his just been the forward line anchor for the best side in the last 3 yrs :rolleyes:

All i was saying is if the opportunity for Fev to come to the club i would at least want the club to consider it because I feel, having him in the forward 50 is a massive step in the right direction , as long as the cost isnt stupidly large, which if the blues want him gone it may not be , although i still dont see this happening
