A lot of people were complaining that the VFL side has been rubbish - with all the focus on developing kids and no focus on actually winning games in the VFL, which isn't great when trying to create a winning culture for the kids.

Surely getting Fev in to the VFL side would help? :P

That's one word for it

We would've got him last year if were interested, no chance this year.

Don't doubt his football ability but want our development squad to be immersed in a culture of excellence and have the best role models around them constantly. Unfortunately this doesn't include Fev
Even his ability is questionable - 10 goals against bumf@ck gully thirds is meaningless puffery.

Would be happy to welcome Fev, if it was at a very reduced salaray. Like.. tiny salary. Throw him in the forward on the odd occasion.. why the hell not.. If Matthew Lappin stays it would serve us well, considering i doubt he will scrap the kick it in high in to the forward 50 strategy.

Sigh. Hate on Fev all you won't.. he is unfit.. Yes.. I agree, but that can be solved. Is his field work sloppy yes.. it is.. but he can kick the ball quite well.. and he can take a good mark.. Fits into our foward perfectly imho.. If i had to choose between Dawes and Fevola to win a foot skills test.. I think Fev would win with ease.

He would beat him in an eating and drinking skills test too.

I really dont get why people say this. Have you seen some of the people on the Pies team? Shaw, Swan, Didak, etc...
Fev is a specialist at going his own way, regardless of the interests of team, team mates or basically anyone else.

Look back into his history as a player, he has never taken anything in football apart from game day - and that only occasionally - with any seriousness whatsoever.

He's a child in a man's body with no sense of responsibility, as a role model for younger players he's a total trainwreck.

Is that enough for you??????

Exactly! Why would we want to add another off field headline grabber into the mix
