It will go through. But at this rate all our draft picks will be with the Lions, and all of their excess players will be on our list. It's like as though Voss is milking even more out of this deal because he knows our admin want to get rid of Fev so badly. Ratts looked gutted today. Very flat. Unfortunately, I think they'll work very well together. Remember the Big V game? They play very different styles and will keep out of each others way. They'll probably win a few flags with those 2 in the forward 50 courtesy of this diabolical trade.

fev alone could be volatile, not to mention brave j brown will now spend a considerable amount of gametime lined up in front of fevolas knees. on the other hand i think browny will also appreciate finally having someone less intelligent than himself in the forward line.

while it would be ideal on the surface if he could remain at the club (all things worked out behind scenes) i've lost the emotional attachment to fevola that some are still hanging onto. trade week seems to do that...
getting shafted at the draft table is the price to pay to rectify culture, etc, apparently. keeping in mind that to offload him we probably would have been shafted by some other team if not brisbane anyway. the payoff is going to be between the players rather than at the draft table. i hope so anyway.
