I bloody hope not. While he is a great player, there are at least 10 other forwards in the league who would kick as many as Fev if they had the same amount of supply.

I'll believe it when I see it, and that means from more than just the word of an opposition fan who has not provided any sources.

3.5 over 4yrs
IIRC after the first 2 yrs he will be in the veterans list...so...
something like
850,000 yr 1
850,000 yr 2
425,000 yr 3 (only have to pay 50% of salary cap on veterans list)
425,000 yr 4 (only have to pay 50% of salary cap on veterans list)

3.5 million over 4 years. It's done, so don't worry about that.

So he rejects a 3 year, 2mil, and Carlton then offer 4 years and 3.5mil

I don't think so champ, bugger off and don't forget your handbag.

From al lreports Fev is happy with the 3 year offer 2mil, but its just the clause about behaviour which is stopping it.

4 years and 3.5 mil is a joke.

Funny isn't it.

Someone's VRS says he hasn't signed and the HUN run a piece.........now.........the day before the game he signs on.........

Secondly, I'd be very disappointed if he is on that sort of money.

He has been paid too much in the last contract, partly because his manager bent us over with threats to go to the Tiges etc........$6-650K is plenty.

somehow I will take Greg Swan's word from his half time interview today before I believe this rubbish from a Cats fan that feels the need to sound informed on our board

Supply? Franklin gets supply. Quick, crisp movement into the forward 50. By contrast, Fev gets haphazard delivery with 1000 opponents scragging him. Would Franklin kick as many playing for Carlton as the only target? Wouldn't think so.

Suggest you re-visit your post.

I don't believe fevola is worth the stress he givens carlton or the money he takes of the blue. Every time he comes to the final year of a contract he boots a heap of goals, leading us all to believe his time may of come to reached super star goal kicking status. When the contract is signed he loose it and becomes complancent.

Its my veiw the blues should trade fevola and get some top draft picks why he is still worth some value and build on the impress young list you already have.

before you shot you me down, think about it. Its just my veiw on fevola the player for the blues. I now alot of you are into loyalty(as am i at the hawks.

But some times tough calls have to be made for a club to go forward. The guy just knocked back a fantastic offer by the blues as he reportedly didnt like the behaviour clause, if he hadnt cause trouble in the past id agree with fevola. But he has done the crime, why should he pay the time for them?

How daft are some of you dills that believe the post.
It's obvious he is stirring.
However, I believe that Judd has set a precedent.
All the elite players will now try and prostitute themselves to the highest bidder.
I have no problems with what Judd has done.
There is a life after football and why not set yourself up if you can.
Lots of clubs end players careers prematurely and there is not too much loyalty towards the players. Carlton did not give Josh Kennedy much options.
Football is a business !
Fevola is playing hard ball. He wants to get as much money as he can:thumbsu:
What he gets in the end depends on what other clubs are willing to pay for him;)
I know for a fact that he is waiting for other offers and that is from his mouth:p

I agree. Suggest you trade Buddy too. Win/Win for both teams! Peanut.

He has already reached "superstar goal kicking status" (whatever the hell that means).

comparrison Buddy 21, 195cm, Fevola 28, 188cm 95 kg.

buddy >>>>>>>>>>>> Fevola.

with the two new teams coming in and fevola refusing the latest contract. think about the draft pick you could get for some one who has rep is more than it is worth.....

don't react on the heat of the moment defensively, look at the positives of doing a trade. Will fevola be around for the next premiership If not the trade you get from the deal has very good chances of doing so.....
