IIRC, Kelly was not suspended for striking. It was that "front on contact to the player with his head over the ball" rule. Rough play, I think they categorise it as.

Still, we have been severely dudded by the decisions since the Stokes and Kelly incidents. I can't recall any other player getting a penalty as harsh as these two copped and there have been many very similar incidents.

Spot on. Wasn't a Hawthorn player involved in a head on incident the week before they played us and wasn't even reported? I don't know which is the biggest lottery, Powerball or the AFL Match Review.
