Lloyd is a has-been, who played in a team proven to be the biggest under achievers in VFL/AFL history. He is also coming off an injury that surely will end his career (unless Leo Barry gives away 50 frees to him in 1 game for the new in-the-back rule).

Lloyd will struggle to kick more than 15 goals for the season that aren't a result of free kicks.

And the hits just keep on coming

Lloyd would be leading the Coleman race at the moment if he played those two games.
He still will be at the end of the season though ;)

Lloyd has stood the test of time, and is 'still' getting 3-4 goals a game.

Hasn't kicked a bag since coming back, hopefully one is just around the corner.

He's a better footballer than Fev, so he has more talent.

You can have all the talent in the world and still be a s*** footballer. Alternatively, you can also be a great footballer and not be as talented.

Lawrence Angwin was talented, he could've been anything. But he was a crap footballer because he was lazy, not a team player and on the E. You could say the same for many other footballers, well, except for the E part.

You can't quantify something as talent so easily. Talent is an X-factor, how much you have of it is not the same as how many times you use it.

I view Lloyd more of a workhorse nowdays, in an ordinary side, now entering the twilight period of his career. By contrast, Fev is an extreme talent, spearheading a young list jammed packed with the best raw talent in the AFL. :)

Ooh yeah, with how good Lloyd is and all... oh wait your an Essendon supporter i have to make it easier and not use sarcasm... Fev would kick the hell out of Lloyd

Not saying he wouldn't, just saying if Carlton has another target up forward fev wouldn't get so much of the ball meaning less shots at goal.

Talent is fine. This year Lloyd is playing all around the ground, he plays down back, on the wing, and up forward. Still kicked 28 goals compared to Fev's 32 (I think).

as I said above, Lloyd spends about a half of football as an actual FF the rest he's around the ground. He's a better footballer than Fev, so he has more talent.
You're an essendon supporter, you wouldn't be able to say that in real life until you put your false teeth in.

HAHAHA! CALL OF THE YEAR! Who cares about mark and goal!

Fev has ripped a couple of games open this year, Lloyd hasn't. That said, Fev has had 5 games where he hasn't managed to kick more than 2 goals. Lloyd has kicked 3 or more in 7 of his 8 games this year. Lloyd has averaged more goals, possessions and marks than Fev so far this year.
he kicked more than loydd and lucas put together, kicked the winning goal.
loydd ahd a chance soon after from outside 50, couldnt make it, so too alwyn davey and he couldnt cut it from 35 out.
fev is clearly the better player at their best, though loydd was in a super team, this cant be overlooked.

Yes. Why not?

On talent is arguable, as it is a hard thing to quantify. The word you're looking for is performance.

No, but I don't see how this is relevant to talent or how they're both going at the moment.
yes he did in the millenuim cup match against the pies, slammed 12, took 17 matks, 19 kicks and 7 hand balls, he destroys loyyd on talent, its an interner endurance site where players are compared in terms of strength, speed and endurance fev wins all three against loydd.
i was surprised , though look i will say that loydd was a part of a better team and wouldnt have been able to kick quite as many at a struggling team.
would have been less

not necessarily, fev was well held by 4 geelong defenders, needless to say fev does more running than loyyd, loydd played all his career at ff, now he tips around the ground, the facts are fev is a better player, BUT FEV IS A SILLY BOY who mucks around too much and doesnt stay focused on his footy.
thats why loydd is deemed a better player, he handles responsibilty better.

Considering how woeful carlton have been the last few years it`s a wonder fevola hasn`t kicked more goals, compare the competition that Lloyd is up against in Essendon` forward line to that which faces fevola, they go to him 90% of the time carlton.
no ur wrong, in all fairness when u have one option u leave him covered with a couple of defenders to drop back on him.
the blues have had a terrible team in recent years, not one where the ball supply will be a good one.
if carlton had another forward,WELL UM WHITNALL IS ANOTHER FORWARD, HAS BEEN FOR 11 SEASONS NOW.
and fev still kicks goals.
