For a player of his talent, his market value is zilch. The lower clubs won't want him because he's too old and a bad influence. The clubs that are challenging either have more than capable key forwards, or no salary cap room.No surprise we have no interest in Fevola.
I'd rather play Newton at FF then have that turkey kicking 80 odd goals and disgracing our club's name...
Whoever takes him is going to be putting their club culture and squad harmony seriously at risk. Dead set spud...![]()

totally agree
I find the Hawthorn and Saints links bizarre tbh.
Franklin/Roughead/Fevola & Riewoldt/Koschitzke/Fevola wouldn't work...
Hawks need a key defender who's also a playmaker, and I really don't think moving Roughead into defence is the right way to go, he's too valuable to them in the forward line. They don't need Fev.
Saints need a mobile mid-sized forward who can take a grab and maybe push up into the midfield and have an influence (i.e. Robert Murphy type). They don't need another KPF...
Judd couldn't work with him anymore. Think he had a sook to the board. Judd is Carlton, so he likes to think.

Blues yet to finalise McLean deal!!!!
"I'll speak to Melbourne and see whether there might be something else that they might want to give back our way"
PFFFT!!! Since Fevs gone, sounds like Carlton are now questioning what they have done.
I see Collingwood as the most likely. Melbourne based so least impost on Fev, They need a forward to win a Flag and with Rocca of the books and Carlton chipping in they can fit him in. I think Cloke and P14 (what ever there first is) would do it.

We're giving up Pick #11 for Lewis Johnston? Nah.
If we drafted Fev I'd be tempted not to buy a membership, he'd be a complete waste.YES.
Getting Fevola to Melbourne will provide a massive boost to our membership.
All those thousands of disgruntled Carlton members tearing up their memberships will obviously come flocking to Melbourne in '10.
He'll be worth every cent.
Typical scum act from a scum club, Screw em, Brock was worth more then pick 11 anyway, if they wanna go back on their handshake agreement **** em.

If Carlton want him out, i dont see why any club (except maybe Sydney) would bother trading, theyd just take him in the PSD.
When will people realise that two shit players does not equal one very good player?

Has 2 years of contract to run at the blues so can't happen.
I know your premiership window won't be open for a few years, but would a marquee (how do you spell that)
player/joy to watch player like fev & all the draft picks & jurrah raise the membership sales & interest in dees thru the roof? he would easily fit into your salary cap atm (especially if blues are paying some of this), he has been worth the admission alone to watch imo! you guys definately need that kind of a boost, although he is a total knob! i'll be very sorry if he leaves the blues!![]()
Another Carlton captain that thinks hes bigger then the club he plays for, on a ridicolously overpriced contract. Koutafides the second. And worse then that he doesnt understand Powerpoint![]()
the AFL is the last great communist empire.
This sounds more like sour grapes about Judd not going to Melbourne than anything else
That "ridiculously overpriced contract" you refer to was something you guys were very willing to pay, hence your reference to the power point presentation.
As to Judd's involvement in the Fev scenario, Fev has been on the block well before Judd got there, hence the number of times Fev's been up for trade before. No doubt Judd had a big input into the decision, but to say that Fev would not have been put up for trade unless Judd was there doesn't make any sense
At the time I was pretty dirty on him, I know if it was me I would've jumped at the chance to play for the club I grew up barracking for and he would've got rich doing it at the same time. But let's be honest we wouldn't have Cale Morton and that kid's gunna be a star, so I'm over that.
