Yep should be fantastic, they had around a 1000 volunteers, just for the FIFA Fan Fest in Sydney, you can only imagine how many volunteers will roll in for the World Cup in 2022 :thumbsu:

You know what they say, first in, best dressed. The FFA already have a massive volunteer army at it's disposal anyway from grassroots football volunteers, to the FIFA Fan Fest to the breakfast on the bridge etc etc. This is just another opportunity for people to join up.

What does volunteering involve?

Could it mean you miss out on watching the match live in the stadium?

I'd imagine that you would get some tickets if you volunteered your time in organising an event such as the World Cup. That's usually the norm with these sort of things.
