I'm off today, So I expect to be in front of the box to watch the first televised draft. I'll have to fight off my daughter who will want some sort of crappy kids show on , I'm bigger than her so I should win, She is not quite 3 yet but a hell of a competitor.

Still hate the idea of this reverse top ten, but at least we get to see it.

Ha ha, I have to fight off my not quite yet 3 year old daughter too.........but I usually lose, so I'll probably end up watching it in the bedroom.

I've got my fingers crossed for Bartlett, superquick, smart run and carry midfielder would compliment the guys already on our list.

PORT Adelaide coach Mark Williams has confirmed his club will select Gippsland forward John Butcher, if he’s available, with its first pick (No.8) in tonight’s NAB AFL Draft.
Butcher, 18, has been strongly linked to the Power, as a replacement for star veteran Warren Tredrea.
On Thursday, just hours out from the start of the draft, Williams declared Port Adelaide’s hand.

No real surprises although I think Fyfe is a bit of a reach so I would hope we get him at 36 instead.

If we miss out on Gawn, I wouldn't be surprised if we go with Fitzpatrick at 36. For some reason I get the feeling we will take someone earlier than expected, whether that be Fyfe/Fitzpatrick/Sumner, I'm not sure....

Hi Luke E, I think Colyer will be selected from 20-40, Hutchings (late/rookie), Dennis-Lane at one of Fremantle's selections at No.48, 49 and 52. Hartigan, Thompson and Casboult are late/rookie chances.

I can't really see anyone slipping. Black will go to Melbourne/Carlton. Lucas should be headed to Essendon. Jetta is a good chance for both Adelaide and Sydney.

Burgan seems fairly confident of Dennis-Lane going to Fremantle at 48, 49 or 52. I'm still a little worried we will call his name at 36 or even 20....
