Has Hendo ever been consistently successful in any position?

I reckon he had a stretch of 5-6 games last year and that's it.

How long has he clogged our list?

Hard to disagree but you assume we can drop all of these players and replace with those that will make more of a contribution. I dont think its quite that simple.

Sometimes it's about making a statement, other times you owe it to the player to give him an opportunity to find form, and then there is the opportunity to play someone like Aitken to see what he can contribute

However I guess that we will never know

Can we just play Shaw off the opposite HB flank...that way all his miskicks would stay in the field of play at least! Only problem is they'd end up hitting some opposition bloke on the chest in the centre of the ground and we'd be more opened up.

Mind you most of our smalls were just as bad with handling the ball - it's like Richmond had glue on their hands and we ran out with some soap by accident.

I think Shaw deserved a spot but unsurprisingly he was disappointing. Hendo was woeful and has been pretty ordinary since coming back.

DOnt get me wrong. I have never though Sam Shaw or Luke Thompson have been AFL standard. They are ok SANFL players.

But Siggins was the only other one who couldve played that role. Unless we chucked Lewis Johnston, Shaun McKernan or JPod down there as permanent back? Rutten would have been far too slow

You can only play the cards you've got, not the ones you wish you had.
We did not lose the game at selection.

I just wish we had more players that crickets didn't rate, that would make selecting them so much easier
