"Collingwood crowds are probably still the worst, but nowhere near as bad as a few years ago when there were all those splinter groups," an MCG source said.

"The Richmond `grog squad' in the standing room can create problems. Problems are related to the level of passion between the supporters.

"If it's Essendon versus Melbourne you wouldn't worry too much, but if it's Essendon and Carlton, you'd be ready."

Carlton-Essendon and Carlton-Collingwood games had the highest number of ejections at the MCG last year, with 15 each.

Why should we cop it ????? - we shouldn't.

Rock on.

When Neville Crowe, then president, stood on a bench and addressed the crowd. "I know you want answers, I know you want to know what to do. I don't know what the answers are!!!"

He was passionate, he was heart fealt, he was honest. We all looked at each other and in a Simpson's moment said "he is right, there are no answers". With that we quietly left.

Ahhh memories :)
