But don't play much now because of Uni, usually only on Sundays and Fridays because i have a day off.

Not that I'm a trophy whore, but I have wanted trophies for FIFA for ****en ages! I play the game enough that I was thinking I'd easily have had a platinum by now, now's my chance.

I have to say too, EA have really got their shit together, as I said in the thread I made a while ago, they have really started to care more about the gamer, and not just about making games look good, apart from their DLC being held back from some full games and having dubious reasons for it(Unlocking all content for a price), but excepting that they have really got down to giving gamers good gameplay as well as outstanding competition leading graphics.

Looking at the trophies, there is NO WAY I will get the platinum, some INSANE trophies to collect, 57 of them in total with the DLC trophies added in(Although you don't need the DLC or DLC trophies for the Platinum).

All though I have a done a lot of the tasks before, it's fun to try it all again. I scored a headed goal from a corner in the 90th minute to equalize just before and the trophy noise went of its head!

Then I quickly got the 50hrs of Single player cus it realised that I played well over that. Then 20 goals in arena, then chip shot. But one that I didnt get which I should've was score goal off post. But i think it means score rebound off the post goal.

Very impressed EA!

Yep, and you don't have to get the DLC or the DLC trophies in order to get it.

yeah winning matches. umm not sure ive only won about 3 online matches n didnt take much notice of how many points id won. but ive been playing on world class against like 2-3 star teams and getting about 700 points/coins a game. once you start getting gd players, you can put better players in the collection, therefore you get more points. i put in the CDM from Roma in the collection the other day, got about 750 points for him.

Hadn't turned on the PS3 for a while, until about a month ago, so was surprised to see this feature after the update was completed. I loved this feature in Uefa Champions League a few years back, and wanted to see it used again in the Fifa franchise.

Been playing it fairly extensively though I didn't enjoy playing online until I started to get decent players. Bought a couple of packs of cards off PS site to get the ball rolling once I could gat access to gold cards, and now spend the majority of time on the Trade section looking for bargains. It's frustrating watching people wait until 3 seconds left in an auction before buying. In the last ten seconds, a player's sale price can jump several thousand if deemed a bargain. By scouring the lists, you can find the odd bargain...jagged Gerrard and Lampard for sub 5000 coins each and managed to find a Benzema outright sale for 10k coins. Forget Getting Torres or Villa this way...both sell for between 70k to 110k. Just gotta keep buying card packs every so often and hope...at least I can sell most cards for a profit this way...

Anyway, I'm pretty happy with the team I've built. First team as such...

Haven't noticed a whole lot of changes; except that for a while I couldn't get on the servers, then when I did, the game actually seemed more buggy. I was playing my brother and was 2-1 up, then one of his players went invisible & he got a goal. I was so upset. Fortunately I scored in injury time and busted out The Robot, but if anything, the patch seemed to make the game worse...

I think it was something like if you play an online game, it used to say "International Friendly" even if you played a game as Liverpool against Chelsea and they just changed that to "Club Friendly" or something. I don't know about the rest of the update, probably best to check the FIFA 09 forum.

The next update should be new kits for Liverpool, Chelsea and a couple of other teams.
