A ****ing great game, this. Have played 2 BAP seasons and into my 3rd manager mode season. Everything about it shits on Pro Evo.
 
Had a big match against an exploiter last night.

I was Chelsea and he was Barcelona(Which is ****EN epic either with the Live Season updates, or something else, but they have a 94 for Attack!).

I managed a ricochet goal at about the 27th minute of the match, courtesy of Frank Lampard.

Then he gets control of the ball at one stage and lobs it up and over my defence, he gets Eto'o to run onto it and this bloke seems to have more pace than C.Ronaldo, and of course I get hit by the Crab Walk, Eto'o gets the ball runs on, I send my GK out and he gets out a bit early and is outside the box, so he does a slide tackle which knocks the ball 20 metres in the air, my defenders still way off it and GK no where near it leave Eto'o to run onto it, but he does this jump kick and misses by a long way, Threat averted, or so I thought.

He cracks onto the fact that Eto'o is now one of the fastest players of all time, so for the rest of the match he is trying this lob over to him, so I'm having to rush a defender back to make sure he can't exploit this, in the end after about 10 attempts he manages to get one past and Eto'o runs into a goal.

So it's 1-1, game ends, we go to extra time, first half of ET is controlled by me, then the second half of ET he manages to get control again, nobody scores so it will go to penalties.

First shot I take goes into the top right hand goals, first shot he takes he goes straight down the middle, but I'm too good for that SAVED, in the end it goes goal for goal until I manage to win.

But the amazing thing is, that the stats in the end of the game were, Chelsea(ME) 7 total shots and shots on target, Barcelona, 27 total shots and 17 on target, so thank god for Petr Cech!

- Allowed up to 8 user-controlled teams in Tournament Mode
After installing the game update it will be possible to play in Tournament Mode with up to 8 user-controlled teams. This gives the option to host bigger events with your friends to compete in offline-tournaments. Have fun!

- Removed ability to bring custom teams into Online ranked matches
Everybody has the option to transfer players in his favorite team and create his own custom dream team. This is an option we want to offer everybody to enjoy the feeling of creating own teams and play matches online or offline. When it comes to ranked competitive online matches we think only real teams should compete against each other to keep everybody’s chances even. So with the update it is no longer possible to enter a ranked match with a custom created team. You will still be able to upload your customized team online as in customized starting line-up with the existing players of that team’s roster

- Fixed Stadium 23.Maj lag issue
We fixed a major frame rate issue in 23.Maj stadium.

- Fixed join issue in Online Team Play Lobbies
A game hang issue occurred during search for available OTP game sections within the lobby rooms has been resolved.

Here is some info Richo is God. Also according to the Fifa 09 forum the update is out on 360 but not PS3...yet.
 
The crabwalk thing screwed me something shocking last night! and when u miss time ur kicks and they have these huge fresh airies (Cotchin 9) knows all about this :D.
But worst thing i feel, is when you know where the ball is going to land, but you know that your opponent is going to get to it first; what annoys me is that you cant run to where your opponent is going to go with the ball, instead you have to run to the ball and then when your opponent gets the ball, you can run in front of them. Anyone get me?
 
The update is live, I think, well it is version 1.01, it is 25MB, I'll see if it is the update that was touted as coming next week.

EDIT: IT'S FIXED! NO MORE CRAB WALK!!!!

Never had the problem so couldn't offer a fix, maybe head over to the EA forums and tell them your problem, they might be able to offer some help.
 
Now I'm not sure if that was the update, although it does play like it was.

But down on the ticker at the bottom of the screen says "Game Update coming soon."

So I don't know what to believe.

is it an auto download or do you need to manually download it (via ps3 direct or via PC/usb)
