Gave up on my Man City campaign after the freezing shit and started a new one with ManU at Legendary Level. Tinkered with formations, sold a shitload of rubbish United dead wood including Nani (diving flange), Berbatov (shit in this game), Scholes, Giggs, Neville, Fletcher, O'Shea etc etc. Finished 14th in year won but won the League Cup.

Bought in Benzema (best striker in the game IMO), Ramos, Diego (freak), Mascherano and a bunch of kids. I mucked around with Ronaldo's base position and movement patterns and he is constantly dropping in behind the defensive wall at speed and scoring. Haven't lost a game in 8 in year 2 with ManU.

I would have stopped playing any other game ages ago, but this is an absolute belter. Responsive, realistic, great depth and it looks and sounds sensational.

Agree with that, I don't know what they did or what he does in real life, but he is USELESS in this game, big lanky and so slow.

Have noticed a few others who are in the same mould too.

Why bring Mascherano in if you're getting rid of the rubbish?

Yeah sounds about right. For a tall striker, he gets most of his goals from getting lucky and being in the right spot. Him and Keane must have had some good combo at Tottenham, because apart they are very ordinary.

He goes ok. I sit him behind halfway and he hacks away at opposing attackings mids. Passes the ball well.

And better suggestions for a CDM?

Created a GK, CB, CAM and ST in order to unlock those awards where ou score most goals with created player etc. Well the ST is shit, CAM is too slow so I've kicked them out. My CB is now rated 74 and is one of the best defenders in the league. My Goalie is 82 and is the best player in the league? Without even giving him any experience points he became the best player...

I have recruited bought 1 defender who is rated at 76 and have recruited 3 more who are all 75's.

My midfield is now all ranked above 75 as are my strikers.

Looking to get promoted quite easily and will hopefully land a big name player in the transfer window.

Look in the Free Agent option when you get to the transfers.
I have landed Adriano and Dani Alves from there - to Melbourne Victory.

BAP (Be a pro) is awesome, but I'm a big fan of Manager Mode. More scope for change. Try starting of as a shit team and building them up to be a massive 5 star force, very rewarding.

The thing is though, he is rated(Points wise) quite highly, so shouldn't be as lanky and dopey as he is, he does have a VERY powerful shot though.

The only thing I am crap at in Manager Mode is contract negotiations, how do you know what the good asking rates are for players? And when should you start negotiations?
 
Do you mean signing new transfers, or contracting your own players again HBK?

The hot tip is, if you really want control over your players. Turn off auto-save, because then you can at least negotiate with the player, it's stupid that you only get one shot at a price.

ummm... I sometimes go for One year contracts, but you still have to keep paying the re-signing fee. Try going for 5 year contracts at the minimal price.

I ussually don't bother, I just re-sign them at the end of the year and give them whatever they want lol.

When renewing contracts I just wait until the end of the season and pay the nominal amount. If I don't want the player anymore I sell him during the transfer window before.

When buying players who are not really for sale, usually I offer 10-20% above the market value, usually works within a couple of weeks. Long contracts for younger players.

You knw when both players go ready and then it's loading and you can have a kick at the goalkeeper, the bloody thing doesn't load up and guess who gets the loss, always me..****ing bullshit..

It shouldnt count as a loss if it's within the first 15mins of the game time...

Yep, forgot to write about it, but that was an AMAZING GOAL, possibly better than mine, as it wasn't a deflection, was brilliant, thankfully I was already well in front so I could enjoy the goal too.:)
