According to this, the demo is out tomorrow. At first I thought that was the US date, but it's the AU site. Or maybe it's the same across the board? Anyone have any idea whether it will be released at the same time globally?
 
New style of the FIFA Live Season this year which offers a MODE instead of just updates to the usual roster. Hopefully we get the 1 free league again this year as I don't really want to fork out the money for it.

Weekly updates of player form, transfers, injuries, suspensions, fixtures, results and league standings, creating a mode that mirrors the real world, where gamers play their favourite real-world teams’ games in complete authenticity in any of the following leagues: Barclay’s Premier League, La Liga BBVA, Ligue 1, Bundesliga, Serie A and Mexican Primera Division. The game mode enables you to visually track your results against real life as you progress.

“Every Wednesday is Live Season day where dynamic real-world data and analytics will be updated in FIFA 10 to match the weekly rhythm of real-world football and subscribers will have the chance to rewrite their clubs’ history,” said David Rutter, producer of FIFA 10.

Sounds gd. Is it online play or single player? I'd like a manager mode type thing that was based more on real life.

Not sure. I'd guess single player only, but there are always a heap of different modes online so it wouldn't surprise me if this made it's way there.

The new improvements in Manager Mode are said to emulate real life more than ever so while we might not get actual week to week like updates and be able to react to them hopefully new mode and Manager Mode reacting similar to real life too it might not matter.

I just went and pre-ordered from JB.

I pre-ordered with EB last year and the pricks wouldn't price match cause they were under the pump when I went in to get it on the day of release so they can get f**ked.

Ok, so i have done the rounds of the mostly ridiculous threads over at the EA forums and my realistic and somewhat optimistic guess is somewhere between 12am-3am EST. We could get lucky.

LOL my face from that gameface beta thing is in the corner as well....looks like mark viduka in an italian strip.

Can't base too much from a 6 min demo though...but im on a non HD tv as well so soon as i get the chance ill play it on the other tv....
