Yeah, as long as the MM is as good as last years I'll be fine. I just like playing the games with some sort of context. The transfers etc. are a bonus.

Anyone have any luck with stores breaking release dates? I called 3 stores today and received the negative response from all 3. Not until October 1st. Still looking forward to an early release tomorrow. I remember picking up FIFA 09 last year 2 days earlier.

Hope it's the same deal this year. Going to be a corker!

The word around the FIFA forums is a lot of shops have confirmed release tomorrow, a couple of people have mooched the game of the more submissive eb and Game employees, and those who arent promising anything are comitting to following a street date break. Tomorrow is a 95% chance

Yeah I've been following the FIFA forums as well. It's truly the crazy fanatics over there.

Alot of the star players have dropped down 1-2 ratings which is pleasing. Thus far the highest rated player is Iker Casillas of Madrid on a rating of 90.

Not sure either, but I have not come across a rating that is higher than 90. People that get close to it are:

Messi - 89
Ronaldo - 89
Ribery - 88
Kaka - 88

I use France internationally and they haven't changed dramatically, was hoping Gourcuff would jump a little higher since he jumped from 75 to 84 in fifa 09 lol, hes on 85 in fifa 10

hmmm. I can't get my head around that. They've obviously used a new way to generate their total skill level, based on their more refined skills.

I just called Myer, Big W, JB, EB Games and Game (south-eastern suburbs) and none of them had it yet. Although several noted that they MAY have it today and would be selling it as soon as it comes in.

From what I gathered they had the game but they couldn't sell until Thursday or until they found out another store had released it first. Last year I got it just about today so I'm hoping it's the same scenario this year.

Apparently Northlakes 'GAME' in QLD have just broken street date, and are ringing people to come in and pick up their pre-ordered copy.

But because they are way up in QLD, what are the chances of using that excuse to get it down here in Vic?

You shouldn't need an excuse. Game told me on the phone this morning they would start selling as soon as they arrived.

dumb on their behalf as the embargo was one of the strictest that EA have implied, so they're gonna cop a massive fine.

EBs in Brisbane are being a pain, saying they need an email to start selling. Theyd want to get this email today, or else im ditching the preorder and going to one of the many game stores that are selling
