Virtual Pro is basically just a more in depth create a player mode, you can play him in any game mode. There is no special 'Virtual Pro' gameplay mode, not on single player anywhere.

Yeah I would play your Virtual Pro character in Be a pro, it makes perfect sense.

i purchased my copy of fifa 10 from eb games, told them i saw it cheaper @ kmart..
so i got it for $91 as i paid for scratch warranty..if i didnt it would have been $86

Got it on PS2 for the Billy Shed.

Played it last night, pretty good. Nothing special obviously because its PS2.. But still good nonetheless.

hahaha thats great. i love this game. heaps of people over on the FIFA forums are bagging it for a number of reasons, and sure its not perfect, but it is a fantastic game.

One moment last night i wanted to share, Diniyar Bilyatinov surges down the left flank and cuts in. At this point, my immediate "FIFA" reflex is to find someone to cross to. This time, I thought stuff it, Ill try one. Billy cuts nto the edge of the box and fires one. PERFECT shot that smacks into the back of the net. Immense joy from that one!

This was an 86th min winner from Nani. Probably one of the best goals I've ever scored. Coming back from 3-0 against Burnley , Rooney equalises with a great goal for his hat-trick. Than NAAANIIIII!!!!!

The people complaining on the FIFA 10 forums are getting shut down pretty quickly. You can't please everyone at the end of the day.

No game is perfect but if an AFL game was made half as good as this you'd think it was a miracle.

Despite the bugs EA should be commended for a brilliant effort. I was an EA hater for years. They were sloppy and never listened to the fans as they have in recent times. Between 2000-2006 I thought they were a basket case in terms of football games. Pro Evolution spun in my console and I never even bothered purchasing FIFA. The roles have truly reversed in the past 2 years.

I still hope Pro Evo 10 is a good romp though. Would be great to have 2 A-Grade football titles.

Bought it yesterday. Had a stuff around in Exhibition and liked it, but didn't sense a shitload of difference. Trained up with 6 v 11 for 30 minutes, which was useful.

What's this new dribbling stuff and is there any point in using it?

Haven't jumped online yet but one of my friends who has reckons it's a massive Real Madrid/Barca fest. A decent player playing with those teams could result in a few pastings.

I'm reading about more bugs, mainly in manager mode. A few annoying ones are players being traded to other clubs without your permission, half emty stadiums for big matchs (ala Man Utd V Liverpool), constant rrainy matches, players refusing to re-sign with clubs, nimble strikers being slower than stocky defenders, Assistant Manager playing players out of position, players being moved even when Assistant Manager is turned off, out of date commentary, and so on. After hearing so many good things about the game prior to release, I'm really nervous about what I'll find when I buy the game later today...

Yep, it says so somewhere on the EA website. Although word is that the patch will only fix a few small gameplay bugs such as the finesse shots. It looks doubtful that the patch will fix any MM related bugs.

Had it since Wednesday but first time actually playing it. Just scored a 35-40 yard stunner with Arshavin, too bad i don't have the connection in the other room, i think its time i get a long ass network cable, ive scored some crackers in the family room that i can never upload. OK question time - I am playing manager mode with Arsenal (just having a go so don't say LULZ SIFZ GUD TEAM FIRST LULZER!) but why are the ratings like so off?

Fabianski 84? Fabregas 83? Nasri 88? RvP 90? Almunia 81 (then when i put him on the field he went to 75?) DENILSON 82?? wtf? Do these guys even watch football? Horrible ratings, not sure what is happening all i can think of is that i got an update somehow through online because i did have a kick around when i first got it with net connected...

any ideas? seems ******ed.

Has happend to me a few times in Fifa 09, not in Fifa 10.
