Why doesn't Fifa 09's soundtrack get appreciated? I thought it was great and it's far better than 10 and 11's.

Thought I'd make a post dedicated to my current squad. This is probably my third start seeing as I've wanted to start with new teams after a few seasons with each squad. I can't see myself restarting anytime soon though.

I'm pretty impressed with what I've been able to create. I've got a bunch of cheap, young stars coming through too. Would like to trade Spector and Mignot and spend some cash to try strengthen my defense some more.

Just a question about ultimate team, is the number next to the contract represent how many games they have signed with you? So the idea of the game is to keep trading and changing your team? Seems a bit silly to not have a settled side

Nah not at all, the number of contracts is just how many games they can play before you have to buy / give them another contract, you don't have to trade players at all. You can get gold 13 game contracts for about 150-250 points or dollars

At the higher difficulty the game just blatantly cheats instead of providing a challenge.

You'll tackle someone going on goal, and the ball "conveniently" rolls right into the path of an unmarked striker right in front of goal for a tap in.
Can't be stopped, not your fault, total bs.

I've seen slide tackles where the ball gets taken off me, yet the tacklers foot was a meter away from the ball, this just also happened to be on a breakaway towards goal.

Still fun altogether though, yet i'm disappointed on PC that the championship celebration is not the same as console, showing once again that EA disregard PC gamers.

yeah, still when i joined its like 'budget 27 mill' so i thought well its not instant success, but after clearing deadwood which would be worth nothing in real life i found it very easy. Next manager mode will be a lower league club, with previous fifa i enjoyed taking em up through the divs

Taken Lincoln City from League 2 to The Championship so far. Spent two season in League 2, one in League 1 and this is my first in The Championship. Won't be making the playoffs this season, but still doing alright. I've absolutely r*ped the free transfers list over the last few seasons.

I do like, not bad at all. Just because I like prying in on people's fun, have a look for a couple of young blokes to slot in at Left Back and Right Mid.

It's a lot of fun, obviously got a long way to go and there's still weaknesses within the team (the positions you mentioned were the ones I was actually going to target next). Only have two 30+ year old players that get regular games (Abe who's 32 and Broughton who's 36) so I should be able to make it into an alright team.

I scored a goal today that will go down in my folklore as the greatest goal I've ever scored. On the edge of the box on the right side, curled it past the goalkeeper , hit the top of the woodwork and in. Pure perfection, needs to be seen, but not sure if my friend can upload the footage Best thing was, it wasn't with Messi with some random striker from Nottingham Forest
