My Xbox actually had RROD a couple of times. Thankfully, both were just the result of power surges.

Plus I have the girlfriend's Xbox as a backup.

And last year, instead of sending that email when one store broke, EB sent one that basically threatened death for anyone else that did it. Which is why I'm still not confident, even if one mob breaks.

Keep in mind it's only very early in the day. There's every chance that something could happen.

For those interested, I plan on holding a head-to-head online seasons thingy on Sunday or something, for those interested in getting the achievement on Xbox. Would be good for the PS lads to do the same.

WHO WAS IT WHO HAD THE GAME TURN UP?! Get a picture of the game and receipt and upload it. If you post it on the EB Games facebook page we have a fair chance of it coming out. One of the EB people just replied to someones question:

Question: Apparently some stores have started to sell fifa 12 due to the fact that your preorders have already arrived at some peoples houses... Does this mean that later today you may release the game in store early?

Answer from EB Games person: I haven't seen evidence of any stores having Fifa 12 on the shelves. Until that happens street date still stands!

Well I am off to work, best of luck to get an early release. Your chances just keep rising as someone just said on the Eb Games page that kmart is selling near them, so they're cancelling they're pre-order. EB might have to act soon.
