Sorry if this is an annoying question, but is Ultimate Team easy to explain or do you really need to experience it to be able to understand it?

If so, would be very helpful if someone could give a quick rundown.

its easy to pick up mate, you start of with a crap (bronze team) and you play games, earn 'coins' to buy better players to add to your team - its like a fantasy game where you can buy players you want to make up your own team and compete against the computer or other players teams

players are rated bronze, silver and gold - but the game is more about chemistry - so its best to make national or league based teams (with players of same nationality or from the same league) but you dont need to if you dont want to its up to you mate

Do you earn more coins playing against the AI or Online?

Can someone help me out here?, whenever I try to go on Ultimate Team on my PS3 it automatically takes me to the page that has my new items, consumables, squad and trade pile, I can't go back to the UT menu or the FIFA menu, i'm pretty much stuck there unless I quit FIFA altogether, I can't play matches or buy and trade players.

online mate, depending on if you win and how good your team is, you usually win more anyway:

online i get about 800 on average, against AI i get like 400-450

Yeah they are in a line, there's no option for me to push back to go to the main menu so no matter what I do i'm stuck, I'll take a picture of it tomorrow to show exactly what the page is.

Won my first 2 games fair and square then played someone who went keeper for 90 minutes lost

Haven't encountered anyone to do that yet tbh. That is just sad.

I won all 4 games in Div 10 (promoted) and now have 6 pts from 4 in Div 9.

Sigh i want to like the game but i just can't right now, maybe i need to grow out of FIFA11 but a few games i was playing yesterday against some mates have really annoyed me.

Keepers behaving like morons and shots from absolutely anywhere causing them to flail around like spazzes, i mean my cousin scored with Per Mertesacker with a left foot volley from outside the box....seriously. Defending i expected to suck but hopefully that just takes some getting used to, but playing 2 vs 2 resulted in near tv breaking fits of anger.

I get caught out a lot on the break and my defenders are just too slow, Eg Distin, Heitinga any ideas for quicker Centre halves ? Got a nice one coming through in Mustafi but hes just not ready yet ?

I'm loving it at the moment. Transfers, Youth Academy, Scouting, Player Growth just a couple of things that are really good.
