Good ol' momentum...I swear whenever you have a two goal lead and the opposition scores, they will score a second within minutes. And it works both ways too. I was down 2-0 in the 71st minute when I scored. Then I scored again in the 73rd, 76th and 78th before one last goal in the 90th...you can see it and feel it...

I had Arellano and Quintero both score hattricks within the space of 4 minutes in separate games last night. They were on fire. I think I ended up losing both games in the 90th min too!

Since I last posted I've been trading like crazy. Started with 75k and worked my way up to a BBVA team from that 75k. Tis is the team:

Pedro .. Falcao .. Sanchez
Ozil .. Benzema .. Cesc Fabregas
Marcelo already had him .. Pepe .. Mascherano .. Joao
Valdez

Not bad for 75k to be honest... All 433 formation.

Everyone has been talking about/doing that with Luiz...strange.
Really not sure why you would though. His stats are as a CB are fantastic, and very good as a CDM, but anything further forward then a CM and he becomes pretty average - 74 pass / 71 shot for a CAM / CF / ST are rubbish for someone priced at 100K ish

Put this together.

IF Weidenfeller
Piszcezk - Hummels - Felipe Santana - Alaba
IF Kroos
Blazscyzkowski - Schurrle
IF Diego
Lewandowski - Reus
Really don't like Alaba (in game). Prefer Schmelzer, more accomplished all-round player, despite the lack of pace, which I never really noticed

How does IF Kroos go at CDM?

NIF Diego was awesome, I'm assuming his IF is next level. Good to see him being used instead of the host of Bayern / Dortmund players that dominate Bundesliga squads

Only played the one game with that team so far.

Lewandowski and Reus are awesome, having not used them too much. Great shots, move really well with each other.

IF Kroos is a terrific CDM choice, IMO better than Schweinsteiger. When I used Schweinsteiger he felt sluggish and like he was running in molasses. Kroos doesn't suffer from that. Gun passer.

IF Diego is bawse.

If ever there was a game that showed how scripted FIFA can be, it was the one I just played

I had 15 shots, 11 on target to my opponants 12 shots, 7 on target

People do realise that this happens in real life too!
Goalkeepers do occasionally save a shot.
The shots and shots on target stats dont mean a thing, its the quality of shots that counts

I am aware of it, but these were horrendous, Gervinho- like misses as well (and no, he wasn't in either team). I'm talking 5 yards out with the keeper beaten, and missing

Not to mention his pen save, which was as about a perfect a pen as I could've played.

Which reminds me, a few weeks ago my keeper jumped the complete opposite direction I asked him, and saved a pen. Could only laugh

There's def some scripting/momentum/whatever u wanna call it in the game.

Reckon most the time I can actually tell when the opp is gonna score a fair bit before they actually do....usually Ill have the ball in space on about the halfway line and try to make about 4-5 easy passes that just keep missing the target. Opp will magically steal the ball, run down the wing, Ill try and change to the nearest defender but it chooses someone on the other side of the field, theyll either score some ridiclous header from 4 deep, or an annoying rebound goal. Happens both ways too. Can always tell when Im about to score a jaggy goal.

Its frustrating as hell when on the receiving end because it feels like there's not a thing u can do about it....but tbh it's probably part of what makes the game so damn addictive.

Just had one of those moments on a Single player seasons game against a World Class team. I was playing perfectly and the game was 0-0 and the snapped up a perfect pass i made in the midfield and pushed forward with 3 strikers, one of which that knocked over my defender on the floor who wasn't even near the ball!
I reacted quickly and chose the middle of my 3 defenders and sent out the closest defender to block the cross. The cross still came in and their striker got a shot on target but spilled out of my keepers hands, luckily i was there to mop up or it was a certain goal...

Best bit is i went down the other end within 2 mins and put a cross into Gerard who crept forward and slotted in a header of the far post. It was the most satisfying goal i have scored because it felt like I 'cheated' the system by not letting the opposition score.

I have only won 3-4 games on World class diffuculty, I can handle Proffesional difficulty pretty easily now and hardly drop a game.
