Had a competition over easter with mates. Created our own league - 8 people, so 8 team league and vs each other twice. Went down to my last game (last game of the comp). I needed to win by five goals to win the league on goal diff - had all eight guys in the one room watching so was crazy intense. We play 6 min halves so it was not impossible but I was vsing the guy who came 3rd in the league so tough ask (drew with him 2-2 in the 1st game played). Anyways, kickoff... 1-0 to me in 5th min(fifa time), 2-0 to me in 14th min, 3-0 to me in 20th min, crazy intense... and... i blow it, opponent scores in 48th min. Game finishes 5-2. Pretty cut TBH. Still that is the best way to play fifa - provided standard is pretty good between your mates... do a league offline (No lagg what so ever is ******* awesome).

Fifa and Mariocart 64 equal best games ever made for sure.

Yeah me and my mate did a draft sort of thing and we made a table in Excel with top scorers/assists/cards and we tally it.

Does anyone else ever experience a freeze when doing career mode?

Controller fully charged, music continues in the background and newsfeed continues to advance, just that you can't hit one of the options on the main career menu. Has happened to me numerous times, really fvcking annoying, really have no choice but to reset the whole console.

I find sometimes that if the ball goes dead in a match and I quickly press start (to make a change) then it can freeze. Happened about 15 times so far.

Also happens to me, I find myself sometimes avoiding doing subs or avoiding a dead ball all together (Not always possible). Theres no way of knowing when it's gonna strike either, sometimes it freezes an hour into gameplay, other times it might happens 5 minutes into resuming career mode. Over it.

Towards the end of my 3rd season as Man United manager.

I've only lost 12 matches. But 6 of those losses are against Stoke..they're just impossible to beat. I always seem to hit the post multiple times towards the end of the matches and they'll be playing tiki taka style with their average paced wingers burning off players like rafael and even their centre backs can match ronaldo for pace.

I just don't understand

I'll keep buying it for the updated rosters and offline career mode. As for next gen, I won't be buying a next-gen console as soon as it comes out because of the initial high price so I can see myself buying FIFA on PS3 for the next couple of years at least.

Spent ages making the Australian Youth team on Creation Centre. It's not perfect but i'm pretty happy with it (apart from the stupid profanity filter which isn't letting me use Andrew Hoole's name).

Took a good few hours thanks to all of EA's ****-ups.

After playing around with the ipad version I finally caved and bought it on 360.

I am Leeds United and in the first season I signed up Ross Barkley and Tonny Vilhena. Cleaned out the old crap on the team as well. Man U killed me 4-0 in the FA cup. I won the capital one cup in an absolute thriller over Liverpool. I also won the npower league just by goal difference. It's pretty fun! I was surprised you couldnt upgrade the stadium like you could in the ipad version but thats no big deal.

Played my first premier league game. Singed up Annus Achabar. Old Annus was nervous but then loosened up and played well. Won 3-0 against West ham. Perfect start for the newly promoted Leeds.

i don't have the patience for anything harder than professional. if stoke city can play like Barcelona and suddenly have their slowest players consistently outrun my fastest players, then something is seriously wrong.

i had mertesacker outjumped by juan mata, he headed it and scored. they then got a penalty because a player i wasn't controlling (i wanted to control him, i pressed L1 but it switched to somebody off the ball) decided to trip over one of their forwards.

Yeah I moved up from professional to world class and it is lot harder, my midfield in general is rated a lot better than the majority of 2nd div Bundesliga and yet they are constantly being outclassed/having to chase spuds. I had one game in particular where i just had no space and was constantly turning the ball over and conceded 3 goals before HT, so i changed to a more attacking formation and managed to score my first within a minute after HT, but sure enough the opposition completely bamboozled my defense and scored straight after.

So I threw my controller across the room.

The AI still act like idiots on Professional so I learned to adapt to World Class, much more challenging but the goals are more rewarding
