Someone even discovered it in the code of the PC game. Say the CPU's normal skill level was "1", when the game hit the 45th minute it went up to "2" and in the 90th minute it went up to "4" or something ludicrous like that
 
F**k Fifa. I needed one win from 3 games to win the league title but the game turns my players to crap and I lose them all. Oh but now they're magically back to normal now a new season's started. :rolleyes:

Completely agree! Definitely the best FIFA I have played.

For those who are complaining so much? Why do you keep playing?

The scripting is certainly there, a lot of sport games do that type of thing to keep the excitement levels up even if it can be frustrating as **** at times.

Only play to help a friend get coins on Ultimate Team. Turned out to be one of the most frustrating gaming experiences of my life.

Well there's something they failed miserably at. The game never feels exciting against Computers, just frustrating. Also, does that mean they should lie about it as illustrated above? Or infract people who complain about it on their forums? and why don't other Sports Games get this kind of backlash? I don't believe any of the previous Fifa Games got a 4.1 Userscore on Metacritic, so why did Fifa 14 get one? Not even their fake PR guys can save it.

The game is buggy, they dumbed the game down drastically and playing the computers is about as fun as rubbing your face in broken glass. I'd say people are entitled to complain

Scripting would be fine if it was done right, but making the controls sluggish, players slow, cpu unstoppable as a handicap is not fun at all.

You don't feel like your in control no matter how good you play.

It is. People just like to complain about previous FIFA's being better every time a new one comes out.

The truth is playing the cpu has been the same for as far as I can remember (FIFA 09 or so), it's not like scripting is a new feature in FIFA 14.
 
Anyone had this happen...Son was playing against the AI, his goalkeeper had the ball in his hand and went to launch a kick out, the AI player standing next to him kicked the ball straight in to the net for a goal as it dropped from his hand to his boot..ball didn't even touch the ground. Never seen that before, and have to admit, not even sure you can do that in real life???

You can't in real life.

If a ball has been dropped onto the pitch then it's allowed but it can't be kicked midair as I understand it.

Yeh, I certainly didn't think so. All I heard was the goal go in, and him start carrying on, so I watched the replay and could not believe it.
 
lol i literally just remembered that i entered a fifa tourney on here but never set a match up with my opponent.

I've played hundreds of online games between seasons, ut and clubs and would disconnect less than 5%
