I accidentally saved over my Luton town career with my United one, devastated, I was sitting second in the championship and had a awesome team of young talent ready to destroy the EPL.
 
I also started a Dortmund career with my brother and we brought in Cavani for 50m from PSG in the first market as we wanted a top line striker, no other buys.

Six months later in the January market PSG offer me 80m for Cavani, board says I can get between 130m - 170m so I go back and ask for 177m, they take the deal, so six months after selling him to me for 50m they buy him back for 177m. :drunk:

City came in late as well and I asked them for 198m which they said yes to but it was too late.

Transfers well and truly still broken.

I'm struggling with Luton, had an up-and-down first season and finished 11th (this is on World Class btw). Thankfully I kept my job. I actually had the second most goals scored in the league, and old man Benson up front finished with a league-high 25 goals in League 2 (and about 30 in all comps) but my defence was really leaky.

Hopefully I can find some decent youth this year and hope for promotion because a budget of £400k won't do anyone any good

I signed a couple of free agents before the season so I had some cash to use on the better youth prospects in that game, meant I could build them all up with the team and get them to 80+ stats in time for the EPL. Sadly all my progress is gone.

That's just silly, also you may find that being so lowly that no offers come for him until you get to a better league.

There is several 80 stat players in the free agency list worth around 10m.

Actually, I did try it with a third division side in F14 and he ended up retiring with Port Vale or something...

Do you always need emoticons to show you're trying to be funny or just Simpsons gifs?

And no, that'd be the only time I've ever had Messi. Prefer to build up stats and have a dynasty.

Guys, for any of you struggling with the pass percentages at 85-90% on world class ( which is completely unrealistic), change it to 56 for computer and 54 for human in the sliders. I played the perfect games last night against Stoke, 76% pass accuracy to 74% and had 10 shots at goal 4 on target and won 2-1.

If anyone wants a freakish scorer without breaking the bank then go and buy Bas Dost, the guy is absolute beast in the air. He is not the best finisher and doesn't have a lighting bolt strike but man if you send enough crosses in he will put the ball in the back of the net. The dude is 6ft5 and strong, think Peter Crouch but stronger and more athletic.
 
Won the title on GD the other night. Went into the last game of the season 2 points behind Tottenham (who played a 1-1 draw with Everton). Played West Brom at home and got over the line 2-1 with Welbeck scoring the winner in the 88th minute. Bit disappointed that there was no celebration/presentation. I was pretty happy with myself as it was my 20th league win in a row after sitting at about 16th halfway through the season (was struggling on world class but then started to defend properly). I'm guessing you've got to be a few points clear in order for there to be a title celebration?

World Class has become a bit easy. For those who play on Legendary, how big is the difference?
 
Just had the most ridiculous goal I have ever conceded, my keeper catches the ball from a corner, and one of my defenders who was going for the header falls and lands underneath him, the keeper then trips on the defender and falls backwards into the goals.

Pretty big. Expect to not have any possession for long periods.
 
this game is much harder for me so far. lots of draws in manager mode. i have had some good runs but then I'll lose disappointly.. somehow I beat Arsenal 8-3 though...

I played World Class on FIFA 13 and 14 but dropped down because this felt so different. Finding it hard to just press the opposition successfully, I always run past them, feel like a noob again.. getting the hang of attacking slowly

First season with Luton on World Class I finished 11th but with the second most goals scored and fourth most goals conceded

Granted, WC feels harder this year. But Pro is too easy because the AI plays dumb around the box

They must have a squad mix like Manchester United...
 
What is one supposed to do when the world class AI parks the bus. It's already hard enough to score and this just makes it impossible.

Use the right arrow on the dpad and change it to ultra attacking or higher and hopefully you can get more bodies in to cross the ball too etc.
 
What with the slow passing in this game, I'm holding it longer and it still does this slow ass pass that allows opposition to get it, is their something I'm not doing how do you do a powerful quick pass, just lost 3-4 because this game doesn't do what I want it to do.
 
Just found out that transfer money doesn't carry over to the next season in career mode, how annoying.

Will have to use up every cent in January next time so it doesn't go to waste.

I wish it would, you get given money for getting to the later stages of cups that you can't even use because the transfer window has ended.
