I like starting with a championship team since at least I get an OK starting budget. Best thing about not having an English team is I have no emotional attachment to any players. Whenever I have tried playing a manager career with Dortmund I am too sentimental and never want to sell anyone :(

As for FUT since I'm going to have to start from scratch I'm really hoping I get Akinfenwa early to build a team around :D

It would be incredibly boring playing as Victory as there is no progression.

Transfer Victory into the English third division and try to promote them into the Premier League and Champions League, I reckon you'll get heaps more fun out of that.
I always just assumed that I as a player would eventually get scouted by an English team or something, then I'd have ditched Victory.

If that never happened you weren't good enough.

I'm sorry.

for the career mode players out there, how do you enjoy the mode?

generally pick the teams you support or try and take lower teams to glory?

i always go my club West Ham and have a major focus on youth development, wont really spend money on major signings and will always go buying youth (19 years and under) or scouting the youth team.

Playing the 10 hour trial until the full game officially unlocks at midnight :D. EA Access has it's benefits :D.

In manager/career mode I tend to get greedy or silly and have a few different saves at the same time. There's a local save where I play as Melbourne Victory, then there's an EPL save where I'll either pick Liverpool or another team and play as them until I get bored. And I'll also have a save in a lower league (usually a lower English league) where I work my way up to get promoted to the main league. In Fifa 15 I took Charlton Athletic all the way!

In fifa 15 I did all of those AND added another league save - playing as FC Barcelona.

Had a fun final night in pro clubs before 17 lands. We couldn't register a single win despite finishing some games with 60% possession but it had a New Year's Eve party sort of feel. Really hoping afros are an unlock again rather than just bought with points. Surely nobody thinks their short black guy with an afro, red beard and big pointy nose is original or funny any more

usually do 3 career modes start as united until i get bored. then pick a team in englands lower division and make them win the champions league. and then a journey man manager start in the a-league and work my way from league to league trying to win as many titles as possible

My City team is done (yeah I miss Mooy) all at cost price (lowest possible bid) which is nice.

I play FUT for fun not to be the best and I enjoy creating teams as I'm sure most of you do too.

oh and all this was used with the players I sold from free packs etc. and I still have about 6k coins left over too.

Won the intro fa cup game 3 -2, random luck at the start went for a header after taking a corner kick....so did the cpu ai who connected and scored an OG.

Started first career with Victory, chose a lead up tournament. Down 0 - 2 early, rebounded to win 4-2 at the end of the game. So I'm getting the hang of it again.

Yeah i got the ea access subscription last weekend
Downloaded fifa 16 for free
Clicked the fifa loyalty offer in the fifa 16 game (appeared bottom right in the main menu) and purchased the super deluxe edition for $104. The deal expired at midnight. Kind of annoyed when I first checked the deal was $102 then $103 later, but when I made the purchase it was 19% off and $104.

Do you get to choose what teams play in the intro game or do they just give you the FA cup finalists?

Chelsea v Man Utd, it automatically makes you play as Chelsea (from my experience) although I cycled through the menu it did have the controller select screen so I assume that maybe it might let you switch which team you control.

It is definitely $69 at Big W, on special in the latest catalogue.
Oath it is. Went in and picked it up. It also features the special 5 fut tokens and 8 game loan with the designer kits.
