Came close to winning a game just before, was down 0 - 1 early in the game. Both teams had chances, it wasn't until early into the second half where I switched from ultra defending to ultra attacking that I was able to create a chance and score. At that same time, the game went from being smooth.... to a stuttering lag fest (was wondering if it was an internet issue or the opponent doing something to deliberately stuff up my chance). Wound up losing 2 - 1.

I need to get better at it, doubt it will happen though.

I think it plays pretty well, I like that it's slower paced than in previous years.

Never been so outplayed in my first game of the season in any FIFA title, lost 3-1.
Leno was the worst I've ever seen a keeper play in FIFA. First goal it hit him in the dick and through his legs.
Should've been an easy save but he Hans Moleman'd that pretty hard.
AI's passing is a bit ridiculous at times and feels very fake, just so much ridiculous one touch bullshit.
The passing for me feels really poor, keeps going to the wrong player. I haven't touched any settings so dunno what's going on there.
The amount of times I want to pass to a free player in on goal and then it passes to a player behind him is crazy.
AI still seem to get super human ability when you're about to shoot.
AI been winning all the headers which is shitting me a bit but whatever.
One foul in 3 games is a bit lame.
Not a big fan of the shooting so far but still early days.
I'm sure there are changes I can make which may help so I'm definitely not writing it off.

Gradually getting better each game, looked horrible in the first game but then I won 2-0 against Chelsea and 3-0 against West Ham.
Very early days but pretty mixed feelings on it at the moment. The poor passing from my players (as well as when I hold it longer and it just does a shitty little dink the player can't run on to) as well as the unrealistic passing from the AI are definitely the disappointments so far.
It's weird, Ozil doesn't really seem to fit my type of CAM style but has been MoTM 3/3 games which I found to be hilarious, thought he's been poor.

It really is laughable how little this game changes from year to year. They couldn't even be bothered to add another default stadium.

What do you reckon the employees on the FIFA team at EA Sports actually do all year? The ones that aren't working on Ultimate Team, I mean.

Manager mode feels like FIFA18 with a squad update. I would have paid $15 for that.

I’m conflicted, on one hand I like the gameplay but other than buying the rights to Serie A it the league still feels barren. They couldn’t even get Serie B.

Seeing top players without faces is disappointing.

I love it. I love that the different mentalities you can use which alter the formation. Think that's a great addition.

Smashed City 5-0 on the opening day on the season (not sure how lol) on professional, then drew 3-3 with Chelsea after being 3-1 up.

I was going for my 7th win in a row in my manager career

Wound up losing 0 - 1. Let the cpu AI score within the first 30 seconds of the game. They had a few more chances throughout the game, while my engine room didn't start producing chances until the second half. And each attempt was blocked by the keeper or I fluffed it out of bounds.

I've scored from a few crosses in multiple games. I'm yet to nail a goal from a corner kick, seems my skill in that area has deserted me since Fifa 17.

What difficulty are you on? I'm on WC, some bullshit goals, but it is satisfying when you win.

Fulham were 2-0 up against me until I equalised in stoppage time. I lost 2-0 to Liverpool who dominated me.

Leno is absolutely a liability. I will sell him at the end of the season. He is junk, cops so many easy goals. Cenk Tosun scored a header from the ****ing edge of the box and he ****ing missed it. Useless prick.

I've not thought much about the passing from the AI, haven't noticed anything that has made me rage. I win headers in game a lot of the time, might be your defenders, scored a few from headers too. Agree about fouls, yellow cards too are still a bit err.

Definitely spend time with the tactics and mentalities. I found my defensive line was far too high (Watford for example were exposing me big time), so next game I made them sit deeper. I concede a lot of goals, but I reckon a lot of it is down to Leno who is a donut.

Ozil has done pretty well for me, scored two in my Chelsea game and has 6 assists in 10 games or something.

How much for Asensio and Koulibaly? They wanted 78m for Asensio I think. Cutrone is very good, gets a lot of assists for me. Seems you've kept a lot of the squad compared to me
