First try at weekend league. Had 3 wins from my first 10 games and was not looking great but ended up with 14 wins from 29 so pretty happy with that comeback.

It's so frustrating. Had my first crack at it this weekend, too, and I'm 10 wins from 20, which includes 3 injury time defeats. so many jammy goals and the lag at times is frustrating but it's okay. just want one more win for automatic qualification next week.

Yeah I had three pen shoot out losses and one game I led 1-0 from the 5th minute to the 92nd when I conceded and he then blew me away 4-1 in et. Very frustrating haha.

Am still in 2018/19 with Sheffield Wednesday in the Championship. 44 games in, sitting 2nd, only 1 point above 3rd place West Brom and 4th placed Swansea. Was playing Preston (8th) to ensure i hold my position as West Brom were playing bottom placed Rotherham and Swansea up against Hull (somewhere around 20).

Up until the 80th minute or so, all 3 of those games were locked at 0-0, before West Brom and Swansea decided to score and knock me down to 4th. All i needed to do was score to hold my position. I had a corner in the 86th minute, which then resulted in 5 shots hitting the bar. Literally painted each side of the bar, before they cleared it and we ended up 0-0.

I honestly think i've had more shots hit the bar than i've gotten into the goal lately haha

Should have sold off a couple of weeks ago if you were going to, although I know next to nothing about the market though.

Gonna be a lot of 83-86 rated players on the market on Friday so they're probably worth selling but I don't reckon there'll be much difference with the true rare players. Was the same last year, the crash was earlier than BF and the market settled very quickly.

Man I wish I posted this last night:


Basically a university actually did a study on the drop rates in FIFA 18. They bought 3800GBP of packs.

They got 70 in forms, not one icon and a handful of guys over 87.

The mean return on packs was 50% (i.e. spend 100k = getting 50k back) and the median pack taking out the outliers was more like 39% return. Unless it's for a bit of fun (usually after a couple of beers) I don't buy packs any more and use these figures to work out if a squad building challenge is worth doing.
