Serie A is decent. And outside of Ronaldo and Dybala relatively affordable. You can get a similar dybala type for cheap. Ronaldo will always be the peak tough. I've had bundes, pl and serie a and serie a has been the best to work with. Went ligue 1 last year but looked at the fb's this year and decided to avoid.

Buying one now.

Depends what you play with and how much cash you got. I reckon a lot of the higher rated midfielders in La Liga are hugely overpriced. I don't like the way their stats are spread. Serie A has been way more balanced. Tough to get beaten in the middle if you've got Naing and Matuidi regardless of what you spend.

Costa top 10 dribblers in the game. I've got cuadrado on the right and he's been solid. Gomez was a goal a game as striker but immobile works way better for me at least. Throw in the other 85-88 rated players in Serie A and you can find a really decent team for way cheaper than a modric, kroos, busq team etc. CB's dope, FB's good on the left with sandro at least, Gk's standard like in any league.

Gets 5 chem which is a positive (i.e minimal boost). You can check his stats on 5 chem if you have him on the bench.

Got Hamsik , Serjei , Pjanic, Naingollan, Khedira and Matuidi as the higher rated and priced guys and they're animals in this game but there's a few 80-82 rated guys that play well above their rating with the right chem cards. Bonaventura is a beast in game, Allan , Can , Pastore , TOTW Pellegrini , Zielinski, Brozovic , Luis Alberto, Boateng , De Rossi and Parolo are all decent and much cheaper cards too.

Cant afford the huge bite off of Sandro at LB so thats a weakness but otherwise backlines great.

Might get Mertens if I can just about afford him tomorrow after rewards.

Bonaventura plays with the best of them. Great call. Really, really good card this year and insane value. The rest also good but just cheap to fairly priced.

Mandzukic is one of the better strikers to use imo, animal in the air and quality finisher. Of all the strikers this year in Serie A he has been the best for me by far. Zaza is a low key beast too.

What formation you running with? I played Mertens an attacking CM/CAM because the defensive cover in midfield is so good in Serie A. I switched him out for Pjanic after a while just because I changed my midfield to sit a bit deeper and wanted them to pass rather than shoot.

Agreed. Kolorov with shadow chem plays better than Sandro i feel. Only just got Cancelo a couple of days ago and he's already one of my favourite cards, it's tough though because i love Florenzi and hate leaving him out. If we could turn fullbacks to wingers I'd have Florenzi starting there.

Tbh I went Cancelo over Florenzi and haven't really worried about it. That's usually a good sign. Have you played with both? What was so good about Florenzi?

Also realised you included Parolo in there. Also a great card. Really good value. Started with Bona and Parolo, then "upgraded" to Can and Allan, but didn't notice a difference until the Naing and Matuidi blokes who are 100K more expensive. Wasn't happy because I bought Allan for 4k and then sold him over the weekend for 950 haha. Same with Gomez. Bought him for 15k and sold him for 4-6k (can't remember exactly).

Tbh I went Cancelo over Florenzi and haven't really worried about it. That's usually a good sign. Have you played with both? What was so good about Florenzi?

He's just always been so versatile and useful for me and his attributes are solid all over the board. Also at the time of purchase of the game Florenzi was so so much cheaper lol. I'm just really anal with my chemistry so i haven't started them both yet for that reason alone haha.

Haha I've lost so much money on players i paid top coin for when I've sold them. Lost 20k on Manolas yesterday bought him for nearly 50k a week or so ago and now he's going for under lol

True, I’ve just got Cancelo and that fast inter LB. just not a lot of options at lb.

Not sure the slower guy would favour me, would have to change my style and run down the wings more.

Fired up a draft to try it out, start off with Sanchez on LW, think, ok cool not a bad start. Get IF Mahrez on the RW. IF Sandro at LB. IF Allisson in goal. IF Neymar. Ridiculous team, all Prem (except Sandro and Neymar). Will start Holebas and Arnie at ST and then bring on Sandro and Neymar (who is a LF for me but surely can play ST).

Try to run my first game and no matches! Will have to play tonight, but holy shit.

Decided to play some online again, haven't lost but drawn a few but now i remember why i hate playing FUT online. Constant high pressure is so OP online , especially if you're experiencing lag then it's near impossible to do anything.

It’s always fast paced, just takes time to get used to.

Lag is frustrating as ever in this game, especially when in a good position as after the lag spell you will lose the ball

So with a lot of pack luck and good trading and cashing in about a quarter of my team I managed to buy prime Inzaghi.

Don't get me wrong, I'm a pretty average player but in rivals so far he's got 20 goals in 12 games. His base positioning is 95 and base finishing is 96 and it's ridiculous. His attacking workrate is medium for a striker so he just wanders around at the top of the box before being in the right spot while the rest of the team does all the build up work but he is always in the right spot. Heaps of his goals are because of perfect runs and positioning getting him tap ins or because of the finishing a miskicked scuff of a shot just goes in. He just walks around defenders in corners as well.

Complete cheat code kind of stuff but a heap of fun.

Having great success with Dybala, even as a striker.

Italian league is so rock solid. Even Cuadrado has 65 odd defending.

Might bring Mertens in, card looks insane other than terrible strength.
