Looks like we can start downloading the game from 11pm and play from 1am, those with EA Play and access to the ten hour trial.

How are people getting the game?
Special edition out Tuesday 6/10
Normal out Friday 9/10
They rinse you another $30 for the special just to get it early and a few bonus packs, but gee it’s always tempting when there’s not much to do and you see others playing it.
Might be a stretch to pay the extra this year got it on amazon last year and it didn’t come until the Thursday

Got the trial downloading while I'm at work. Hopefully its done when I get home. I'm torn between smashing squad battles to go for Elite 1 or just playing div rivals. Have seen online that if you can win all 5 placement games you get 120k! I might do a lot of SB and then finish the trial with the 5 div games after getting some coins for a better team.

That’s crazy they’re giving out that 120k or so to people who have the access. Makes those who get the normal feel we’re already behind before we even get started.
Yeah true. Probably EAs way with FOMO so you pay more for the earlier editions. I will probably spend 9 hours over tonight, Sat and Sun playing SBs and after rewards on Monday, use the last hour for the div rivals placements. But those 50-100k (I'm not winning all 5 haha) coins would be nice straight up!

Will predominantly be playing UT (first owner only run). But career mode seems to have had some significant changes this year, so looking forward to getting in and checking that out as well.

really like the coins after the rivals placements, gives you 5 games to try out your team and then you get some coins to make upgrades where needed, very good for casual players imo.

Put 12k points in to kick off the starter team for year and took until my second last pack to get the "walkout" prompt (the third light panel on the left hand side of the door doesn't open up).

Got it downloading, too! Varane sold for 290k just now, so got a fair bit of coin in the bank. Not looking to buy players this year, strictly a RTG with whatever I pack.
Varane would have been a good edition for a FO RTG hahah. But that's so much coins for a nice start.

Never been so excited about packing an 80 rated player as I was when I packed Lukas Klostermann.

Only played a few games so far but am really enjoying, feels like you might actually have to defend this year rather than leave it to the AI. First week is always good though as there isn't really a meta yet.
Couldn't wait till Monday to play rivals. Needed coins for the SBCs. Went 3-0-2 in my placements and got Div 4. The wins were all by 4+ goals and lost each game by 1. Should have definitely won one more as I dominated the guy but happy with Div 4.

Did you get any sort of pay out?
65k I think. 89k for div 3 and 124k for div 2 I think it goes.
Good start to my First Owner RTG. Packing Werner was huge!
I cant believe I have decent attackers first and have crap CBs
Hopefully my game gets delivered tomorrow (ordered online through Amazon)

Yeah, a bit skeptical on amazon as they have been a bit all over the place with my order, first they got the date wrong, then it was going to come late, now they say tomorrow but I'm not holding by breath as it says 'delivered by 11pm', kept some EA access hours up my sleeve just in case!
I seem to be the other way round though and can only seem to pack CB's (the two in my team as well as Tomori and Hernandez) at least I am allowing myself to buy players for where I am lacking!
I'm currently running Muller up front so I am so jealous of that Timo.
Do have another option for my squad though for when I accept that Muller is just too damn slow.

I was worried about that too, it says will be delivered on the 6th. But then the top of the screen says warning products may be delayed. Who knows.

Game feels so good to play with. Defending is hard, but I hope they don't patch it with the influx of players coming. Headers are back, too! Won 2, drew 1 and lost 2 in the placement games, both losses coming in injury time by a goal

First owner RTG is coming along nicely. Mertens is the only untradable one of this lot, with Ousmane Dembele, Benzema and IF Bowen coming off the bench. Guilavogi mops up everything...doesn't feel like a 78 and Weghorst gets his head to everything at corners. Such a cheap beast to have at the start of the game.
Been bloody lucky with the advanced SBC's...got extinct Martial who sold for 160k and some SBC nice fodder like Busquets, Kroos and Bernardo Silva.
