So my silver TOTW investments paid off bigtime yesterday.
All 50 of them sold for max price 30k after buying for 10-12k last week, giving me 1.5mil to mess around with.
Bought Messi, wanna try either Di Natale or Abedi Pele so might get rid of of IF Son, Kante, Bruno, and get a Serie A + Ligue 1 hybrid going With IF Barella, Tonali and Kessie as a cheap but beast midfield compared to prem.

I’ll probably do it after WL rewards because there’s not really much else I can upgrade, but yeah if you don’t already have his gold I’d just get the gold card.
I only had the funds to buy one at 14k, sold for 24k at least lol
FO RTG is tough but I get enjoyment out of the game that way.

Took tradable Rivals rewards last night and this donny walked out. Good coins for some upcoming SBC's! 
I know it's Ronaldo but the requirements fir that sbc is ridiclous. Fingers crossed it makes the market rise, it's been shockingly low still.

Was bored so ended up playing all my weekend league games tonight as you get the rewards straight away now, finished 13-7 which was good for rank II but was still kind of frustrating as pretty much every loss bar one I felt like was just me playing bad and giving away goals with bad turnovers or careless interception attempts.
Here's my full player stats for it:
Stoichkov was decent but didn't really feel like a 700k player, might try Drogba next week.
Rashford was my only good pull from the rewards, might keep him to use as a sub. Also the red picks appear to be tradable or at least you can quick sell them for coins which is odd.

The market is cooked atm. Fodder dropped overnight even after all these new POTM SBCs. 84s are basically discard price so will no doubt rise soon.
Been messing around with my team. Got Abedi Pele on bid for 830k last night (hes 960k now), and have enough coins to get any trio of midfielders from any league (except Kante), so tried out IF Tonali, IF Barella and Kessie yesterday and they were solid but felt weak in the passing aspect.
Today I'll be going with IF Zakaria, IF Kimmich and Goretska. I'll also try next week Llorente, De Jong and Valverde. Then I can choose which one I liked most and stick with that league.
Team atm, Vini IF, Mendy, Kimpembe, Marquinhos, Donnaruma all packed:
Am in 14 day isolation cause of a tier 2 site (tested negative) so will have not much else to do apart from grind Fifa. Currently Div 6 rank 1 so I could probably get to div 2 by then.

Not me, unfortunately FUT and pro clubs has all my attention. I'll play football manager if I want to be like a manager.
Am 8-5 in WL. Will go for the 12 wins but pretty happy to get the 8 wins

OMG, actually played against someone that completed the Ronaldo SBC.... just why give your money to EA, unless they packed like Di Natale and Mid Eusebio haha and sold them to do it.

Playing with a sub 100k Serie A team and I’m not a really good player, in a shit spot now. Went from div 8 where I was winning 80% of games to div 7, won my first game 3-0 and now I reckon I’ve lost 15 games straight. Just cannot win no matter what I do, can’t stop people opening the middle up and kicking goals.

Yep its the only mode I play. Got halfway through my spurs season. Just had a mixed bag of signings.
I get frustrated enough with that so i doubt I should ever wonder into ultimate team.

Same here.
I have two games to go, I will win the league if I win this match.
I am on legendary but United are way too good. They pumped me 4-0 and then I had them in the Cup Final 4 days later, was 3-0 down, got it back to 3-2 and then they made it 4-2, I got it to 4-3 but too little too late. They are just way too good.

I'm 3 points above United but still a while to go. In the FA cup and Europa Conference League (lol) still. Man City went peak Barca and knocked me out of the EFL cup.
I'm not too happy with my squad and I've messed up my signings/put myself in a corner buying Kounde. XI is mostly the same. Gollini was recalled as I wasn't playing him enough (despite starting every cup) and I want to sign Romero full time but the option is not there (I'm not sure what is going on here and feel like I've wasted development on him).

St Juste - Cheap 3rd CB with redic pace, like him
Gerson - I wanted a left footed CM and payed up for this guy as couldn't afford Lemar. He is awful. So slow and can't shoot. Signed in Jan and will be sold asap.
Sarr - Probably payed too much but I like a name signing over the wonder kids. He's done alright but can't dislodge Lucas out of the team.
Yilmaz - I just liked him at Lille last season. Big slow striker but man he kicks some crackers in the cup games.
Also signed Gavi from Barca (cheap and has shown a bit).
Raspadori/Damsgaard I've considered. How have they gone for you? No idea how I'll ever afford him but I really want Chiesa.
Kane is leading the golden boot. Heung-min Sonaldo not far behind and still just way too good in FIFA. Ndombele is an assist god/plus chips in with plenty of goals.

I was having similar issues yesterday. To fix it I went to a 4-2-3-1, play two big CDM's and have one set to stay back. I also have a tactic for my fullbacks to stay back rather than overlap if I am under siege too. I find playing 5 in midfield makes it far tougher to for people to pass through me.

i go 4-1-2-1-2 narrow and put Kessie on stay back and cover centre. Basically plays with 3 massive cb's. If i'm really under siege i'll sub on dumfries over Cuadrado for even more strength and height. I just start with that, my oppo has done well if they can get past me consistently.
