Just finished my season, haven't done my next seasons transfers yet as I also manage Portugal and now have the World Cup lol.
I won the FA Cup and Europa Conference League. Barely worth it, both comps combined got me 7 million. Also have 178 million for next season. Hopefully can make big changes to the squad so will update tomorrow (checks time - later today). If I sign Chiesa I think I have to sell Sarr as Lucas is just so good in FIFA and perfect as my back up winger.
I finished 2nd in the league. Had an epic 3-3 draw with Villa and then vsd Man U who were 1 point above me. They went up 3-0 - the third goal being a hilariously scripted bad goal from my defence. I got 2 goals back in last ten minutes before Luke Shaw became stretch armstrong stopping my final thru ball. Couldin't catch em from there. Kane scored 30 in the league (46 all comps) but lost the golden boot to Ronaldo (36).
So you sold Auba? Sorry If I missed that. I'm thinking of signing Zakaria as backup CDM, he good?
When I do my transfers - I want Chiesa, a new back up striker and a centre back as my priorities.

I commend you for not rage quitting like me lol. Sounds like an epic game for sure. I played Southampton earlier, was 2-0 down at HT. They scored a rocket from 25 yards, and then I got stooged on the second because of the game physics. Switched to 4-4-2 in the second and came back and won 4-2, very satisfying.
With that figure plus sales and player swaps you should be able to get who you want. I reckon do cash + Sarr for Chiesa (I think they want around 60-70m from memory.) Will keep more money in your pocket, and he should be valued nicely and you get rid of him, for a player you want. I really like Raph after having played with him more, he is quick, and lovely control etc. I paid about 60m for him (40m + Guendouzi)
Yeah I sold Auba for 40m, he was in last year of contract, he dominated, but I thought I would cash in while I could. Martinez has been brilliant too.
Yep, Zakaria is very good. I play him alongside Partey against the good teams/in big games.
Highly recommend Lacroix as a CB. His defensive awareness is like 89, and he is very fast too.
Needed 3 wins from my last 4 games in playoffs and managed to win my last game in the 85th minute after being 3-1 down at half time.

I definitely still wig out while playing. I'm trying not to rage quit as winning the league overall feels a bit less to me when I do. I've calmed a bit since changing from PS4 to PC. My poor PS4 absolutely copped it on the last game. Just lost the community shield to Man U 2-1 which had me triggered, watched 2 things back on replay and all you can do is laugh. Game is torturous.
I'm pretty stuck in my 4-2-3-1. With my left midfielder in the two playing advanced. I should probably tinker with tactics as I never do.
I tried to get Zakaria but talks broke down (do play in dollars or euros?)
So far I've signed
Maignan - Sent Lloris there way to cheapen the deal a bit
Lemar - They wanted 75 million. I offer 50 and Skipp. They say no and ask for 54 million (lol!). Done deal. I sold Lo Celso (who was good for me) for 80 million.
Lacroix - Yep he looks good. Was trying to offload Rodon in the deal but they weren't having it.
Chiesa - Sent them Sarr and still ccst me 100 million. First game was underwhelming but I've never used him before.
Acerbi - 34 yr old Lazio CB I found in free agents. Signed because why not? He's worth 14.5mil so will be good depth or will use him in a deal.
I have around 30 million left and still want another CDM, backup striker and a cheapo goalie. I have players like Gil/Sessegnon but I just don't want to sell them. See how I go but I need a Kane backup. I tried Greenwood early in a swap deal but didn't go through.

The other day I mentioned that I was 0-3 in playoffs and I wasn't playing well. So, I changed the team up a bit, changed my tactics and went back in. Clawed back to 4-3, I was unstoppable. Then, I lose to a Neymar 90th minute finesse. 4-4, I get matched up against a sweaty five back virgin who passed it around the back the entire game. So I missed by 1 win

I agree, but sometimes it's so warranted cos of the bullshit that happens.
Yeah I set up player instructions and everything (IE I have Saka coming back to defend), my attacking formation is a 4-4-2 diamond.
I play in Pounds, you will be able to approach him again after a week.
Yeah I have Maignan, he is very good. Haha that's an absolute bargain for Lemar. I did consider him but opted for Brahim. How much did you get Lacroix for? That's a shit load for Chiesa, I ams ure he will be worth it though.
Beware - pre season you will have a slim squad as the WC is on, I signed 4 players and couldn't use any of them lol.
lol Greenwood is at Leicester in mine with a 73m release clause.

I choked a 2-0 lead in the game to go up to Elite yesterday haha, probably the most tilted I’ve ever been.
8-2 in champs going for 16 wins but would be happy with 12. Messi and Son have been tearing it up with around 30 goals combined, cant see them ever leaving my team except for upgraded versions.
Had 4 games where i went 1 or 2 goals up and my opponent went afk and got DC'd which was weird, still got the win tho.
Champs is so much less stressful than previous years and even playoffs, i was enjoying it a fair bit

Will be interesting to see with the coin value of the packs I get throughout the year, what my return is on players (price of players in the mud atm). And if I were to pull special cards.
Loving my team at the moment as a FO RTG, might grab a screenshot and post later. That Benzema card is unreal.

Highly recommend the De Ligt sbc. Card is beastly and should get an upgrade, Juve qualify for sure.

Here's the team, all first owner. Switch to 4-1-2-1-2 in game with Casimero CDM, Thiago and Jorghino as the CM's. Benz into the CAM spot with Lukaku and Ben Yedder up front.
The central formations seem to be a little more popular this year, how is it?

do you not find Jorginho, Thiago and Casemiro a bit slow?
no way i could play with them and i've tried Thiago, couldn't bare him.
That's the good thing about this year I reckon, is that pace isin't that Meta. They get good tackles in, can lay off lovely passes and even bang in the odd goal from outside. I work the ball around, get the ball up to the front 3 and go from there. I would love to have Kante instead of Jorghino who would play CDM and then Llorente instead of Casemiro but alas I have not packed them haha.
