I have always liked 2 striker formations, Either 4-3-1-2 or 4-4-2 diamond. I'm just comfortable with it, I say just go with what works for you.

Yeah I was pretty happy when I saw this today, De Ligt > Hero Cordoba was my next planned upgrade but this is a much cheaper alternative.
 
Ended up hitting the 12 win mark with 5 games left but couldn't be bothered to sweat anymore so gave the rest away.

Rewards were pretty decent. RTTK Traore and Diop, and IF Raphina and Lozano in packs. Lozano and Oyarzabal in red picks which is good.
All up around 200k coins made and will try out Traore who might mean I sell my OTW Hakimi for 400k.

Started off 0-2 but then recovered to 14-3 before losing two of the last three to miss Rank I by 1 game, the last two losses were pretty frustrating especially as one was to a loan Pele who came off the bench and the final game I don't think he was good at all but his Eusebio scored 3 times in 3 shots.

RTTK De Ligt was definitely worth the upgrade, the added pace is just so huge when up against fast strikers or wingers. Theo Hernandez continued to be insane, going to spend the 220k on his IF sometime before next week.

Nothing good in any of the rewards, reds were Bastoni/Navas/Garry Rodrigues and the TOTW pack was just discards and no one above 83 in the other packs.

Having a better team is definitely a lot of help. Funnily enough though I find myself playing Muriel over Immobile, just cannot score with Immobile but can whiz through defenders with Muriel 🤷🏻‍♂️.

Yeah I have Maignan, he is very good. Haha that's an absolute bargain for Lemar. I did consider him but opted for Brahim. How much did you get Lacroix for? That's a sh*t load for Chiesa, I ams ure he will be worth it though.

Beware - pre season you will have a slim squad as the WC is on, I signed 4 players and couldn't use any of them lol.

OKAY! the first reset happened. Up 3-0 at HT. They score 3 in 15 minutes. I check the stats 15 shots to 5. My expected goals 7.5 to 1.9. They score a 4th in the 90th. This was after a 90 minute playing McTominay chased down 70th minute sub Lucas. Like I'm sorry but **** off.

I do dollars just because pounds always throws me off.

Will have to double check what I payed for Lacroix but he is now cemented best XI. I am in love with Lemar/Chiesa now. Chiesa is 4 goals in 4 games but is also a crossing machine. I sold Dele in a deal to get Greenwood.

Hahah yeah that's crap. I think I need to increase the computer's shot error too. They score so many outrageous goals. Ridiculous.

I think the xG in FIFA is pretty broken tbh. An xG of 7 is nuts lol. I played Leicester yesterdya and got destroyed. 3 shots to 18 and they only won 2-0, they were all over me, and the missed a pen. Then they beat Pool next game 3-0!

I got smashed against United in COC semi first leg 4-0. I had some great chances but they had 3 goals from 4 shots. I went and looked at Ronaldo's stats and he is so overrated. Not denying he is great but his stats are like he is 29 again.

Squad is looking good. How you finding Maignan? He makes some impossible saves (I do think GKs are overpowered too). Though looks like you can still upgrade the bench. I am in Jan 2023 now, I've added Tchouameni for 35m (highly recommend).

I am a fair bit ahead (have been dominating for the most part, but have restarted some games just because of the bullshit you're well aware of that happens). Played out a 4-4 with Villa yesterday. I was down 2-1, got up to 3-2, and again 4-3. They equalised 92nd. It was a cracking game.

Have you got anyone else on your radar?

I disagree on this, it makes sense to have more lower rated squads rather than a smaller amount of higher value squads due to the amount of 83-85 fodder everyone is holding right now.
