Re: Lars Von Trier's Nymphomaniac Vol 1 film...

---------

While the film features unsimulated sex, exposed genitals and penetration, these were digital compositions of pornographic actors onto the bodies of the film's actors.

Shia LaBeouf was asked to send pictures of his penis in order to obtain his role. He subsequently decided to send in personal sex tapes of him and his girlfriend having sex in order to convince Lars von Trier to cast him.

According to Stellan Skarsgård, the "chocolate sweets" portion of the first chapter is based on an anecdote told by a female friend of Lars von Trier about how she and a friend dared each other to have sex with people on a train for a bag of candy.

Here's some trivia for you sportsfans

Until recently, I always thought Michael Myers from the Haloween films was this guy wearing a mask

During the filming of the 1985 film ‘Red Sonja’ Arnold Schwarzenegger has admitted to having a very hot affair with Danish co-star Brigitte Nielsen.

She then went on to marry another one of her 1985 co-stars, Sylvester Stallone in Rocky IV, after supposedly being told by Arnie she would never be “First Lady material”.

Robert Redford was initially the #1 choice to play Michael Corleone in The Godfather as Al Pacino was a relative nobody at the time.

Sir Alec Guinness famously turned down a salary for playing Obi-Wan Kenobi in the original STAR WARS movie because he thought it was garbage and was destined to flop.

To appease George Lucas who wouldn’t accept free work from the esteemed actor he agreed to receiving a 1% share in all future memorabilia related to the film and the then fledgling ‘LucasArts’ as payment instead.

Guinness received a salary for Star Wars. How absurd to suggest he'd do something he thought would be a flop for free! But also he received 2 and a quarter percent on film, that quarter being offered after the original negotiations.

What he did do as a favour to Lucas were the sequels.

An additional quarter was also given to the other 3 stars of the film.

Lucasarts didn't even exist until the 80s.

Nah, my version sounds better. :)

One of Clint Eastwood's most well known western films, The Outlaw Josey Wales, wasn't actually directed by him.

Apparently the film's original director was muscled out by Eastwood, who towards the end of filming, told him that he wasn't needed anymore.

Despite only doing the finishing touches, it is known as a film directed by Eastwood.

In The Wolf of Wall St the ‘F’ word is used an average 2.8 times per minute, so for the film to be shown in the United Arab Emirates it had to be cut by 45 minutes in length.

This proved disastrous as much of the dialogue was removed leaving the movie not making much sense at all to the viewers which resulted in terrible reviews and box office sales.

In the five 'Vacation' movies, the roles of Rusty and Audrey Griswold have been recast each time.

Rusty was played by Anthony Michael Hall (National Lampoons Vacation), Jason Lively (European Vacation), Johnny Galecki (Christmas Vacation), Ethan Embry (Vegas Vacation) and Ed Helms (Vacation 2015). The actresses to play Rusty's sister Audrey were played respectively by Dana Barron, Dana Hill, Juliette Lewis, Marisol Nichols and Leslie Mann.

To date, only one of the actors to play the Griswold kids as reprised their role, and this was the original Audrey Dana Barron, who again played the character in the forgotten straight to DVD movie 'Cousin Eddie's Island Adventure'.

Despite a 27 year age gap, English actors John Cleese (born 1939) and Joan Sanderson (born 1912) played the roles of a married couple in the 1981 film 'The Great Muppet Caper'.

The late Joan Sanderson is perhaps best known for a guest role in the 1979 Fawlty Towers episode 'Communication Problems', in which she stole the show portraying a bad-tempered and almost completely deaf old battle-axe Mrs. Richards who drove everyone crazy, not least the long suffering manager Basil Fawlty, played of course by John Cleese. Although Mrs. Richards didn't think he was called Basil Fawlty; thanks to her hearing problems and Manuel's poor English, she thought that he was called 'CK Watt'.

Sybil Fawlty, Basil's diminutive but domineering wife was played by Prunella Scales, and Joan Sanderson and Prunella Scales would go on to play the roles of mother and daughter in 'After Henry', a largely forgotten British sitcom of the late 1980s/early 1990s.

In the movie 2.0 (2018), South Indian actor, Rajnikath, who is currently 68, was paired opposite Amy Jackson, aged 28.
In Kaala (2018), he is paired opposite Huma Qureshi, aged 32.
In Kabali (2018), opposite Radhika Apte, aged 33.
I could go on, but it would be a long list.

Also, on that note. Deepika Padukone (33) has been starred opposite Saif Ali Khan (48) in in four movies (2009 - 13). While Deepika husband Ranveer Singh (33) , recently starred in a movie called Simmba (2018), where he was opposite Sara Ali Khan (25), Saif's daughter.

In the movie Venom, Michelle Williams plays Tom Hardy's girlfriend where at one point she is possessed by Venom becoming a female human-alien hybrid, a bit of a reoccurring theme with her as she was also the first human-alien hybrid playing the young Sil in the first Species film.

I heard on set he offered Mark Hammill 50 bucks to stop talking to him because the young actor kept bugging him with questions.

Speaking of comedy genius Pryor, a remember a small piece of trivia about “Harlem Nights” having the most amount of expletives or surely at least the ‘F’ word to be used when it was released.

Another fact about that film, with Murphy, Pryor and Redd Foxx it managed to disappoint three generations of comedy fans at once!

I love it and am thinking of showing it to the wife tonight, tho it's difficult to find with Swedish subtitles and i reckon the humour wouldn't translate at all.

Redd Foxx was also excellent as was Danny Aiello.

Not aware of the disturbance it caused tho, please explain?

It's not really that bad, but I thought it was a pretty underwhelming standard 80s comedy considering it was the meeting of the God of 70s comedy and 80s comedy with a titan of the 50s for good measure. Bowfinger was a better allstar collaboration featuring Eddie Murphy imo.
