so Richmond will self destruct again, Kangaroos will sneak in (but Geelong, Adelaide and Doggies won't)

and you also predict Collingwood will hang in there and Carlton will steady a bit over the last few weeks of the season ?

hmmmm - interesting.

My predictions are

Essendon
Brisbane
Port Adelaide
Hawthorn
Sydney
Carlton
Richmond
Kangaroos

Kangaroos will scrape in with 11 wins and a good percentage

Sydney (i'm hoping !) will get 13 wins + a good percentage to sneak into 5th and get a home final.

Carlton is in for more of the same inconsistency over the concluding weeks

Collingwood, Geelong, Adelaide and the Western Bulldogs will all finish equal ninth with 11 wins each.

Richmond will finish 7th with 12 wins (well done Tiges)

cheers

This is how the crows can make the 8.

Most prob 12 wins.....we have 8 at the moment

We need to beat..
Syd (home)
Melb (away)
Hawthorn (home)
Freo (away)

Our other games are ---> Port (50/50), North (Hard), Carlton at home (you just dont know how carlton will perform)

I think Richmond and Collingwood both have very hard runs toward the finals. I think Collingwood will hold up a little better than Collingwood.

Carlton will bounce back (unforunately) and they will finish top four... If it will be anyone to start dropping its going to be Hawthorn...
Carlton play Freo so they will get played back into form .. like most ..

Adelaide has got a tough run. If they lose to Sydney (like i think\hope they will) I think they will find it tough to make the finals from there ... But .. I think its going to be a shootout .. It depends ..
Adelaide have the advantage of playing Freo in round 22 ...
Thinking of this .. i may reassess and just see adelaide sneak into the eight ..

ok, call me scared, maybe i just have my teams best interests at heart. but i hope carlton finish 2nd or 5th, that way, we won't have to play them at all unless they make the grand final.

the best essendon can hope for is home week 1 to port, then home week 3 to the hawks.

if sydney finish 5th or 6th, win at home, then manage a melbourne final in week 2, they could make week 3, but i doubt it.

the lions look good and if they win the next 2 are guaranteed top 2. tough 2 weeks for port and north - both having to play the lions and bombers in consecutive weeks.

Essendon
Brisbane
Hawthorn
Port
Carlton
Richmond
Sydney
Collingwood

I think Carlton have a harder run home than people realise, plus they are really struggling in the ruck department. However, they are fortunate to be playing Freo this week and Hawthorn (who also have a depleted ruck group at the moment) next week.

Despite everyone's dire predictions, I'm sticking by the Tigers, tipped them for the 8 at the start of the year, they will hang in there.

Hawthorn still have to play Freo, St.Kilda and the Bulldogs, I think they will come good and take 3rd spot.

Sydney have a fairly easy run home, they should just get there.
Collingwood will make it providing they can win tomorrow - otherwise North will take their spot by beating them in Round 22 at Manuka.

at this stage.
essendon
brisbane[home games galore]
hawthorn[fairly easy run home injurys maybe the key]
richmond[i know bag me if ya want but has to keep faith:D]
port[a tough run home]
carlton[recent injuries will cost them dearly]
adelaide[easy run home than most will suprise]
bulldogs[will scrape in with never say die attitude]

collingwood very unlucky but signs are there that the young brigade are starting to feel the pinch.

geelong unlucky as well but coming from back in the feild will bring them just short

sydney while they seem to have rekindled there spirit one feels one loss and that would be it for them.

cheers!

Essendon, Brisbane, Carlton and Port.Adelalaide.

Then they're 8 teams who can be placed from 5th - 12th.
