What wonderful lady, actor and person Nichelle was. She also worked for years at NASA and of course her trailblazing role on Star Trek will never be forgotten.

Mentioning Tony Dow's passing, he was best known as Wally Cleaver on Leave It To Beaver.

Nicki wasn't a household name, but I loved her performances as Meg on Supernatural and 47 is way too young and tragic an age to die. Just really sad and tragic news for her family and loved ones.

Damn, another childhood favourite actor/performer gone.

Was not a fan of her political views, especially her controversial ones on Vaccinations, but I can separate that from her work and she seemed like a nice person who was greatly loved by her family and her co stars.

She was fabulous on Star Trek as well, but will remember fondly most for the memorable bar manager Rebecca Howe on Cheers and on Looks Who Talking with John Travolta.
