You're kidding right?? Angel is total crap, David Boreanz, well.... enough said. Plus, I just hate spin offs. Each to their own however..........

Sly, Buffy comes back to life, obviously :)

I thought the start of this series was a bit dull, but bringing in Dawn was a masterstroke and has really livened things up. This whole Glory storyline has been pretty interesting, and I like the Buffy-Spike love interest thing too. I'd want to see where the next series leads before they wrap things up for good.

I also enjoy the ongoing story rather than a different vampire or demon being slayed each week *yawn*

Somewhat more coherent now. Just want to say again, finally, definitively, and in LIVING color that BUFFY WILL BE BACK NEXT SEASON STARRING Sarah Michelle GELLAR (of television's "Buffy the Vampire Slayer")on UPN, TUESDAYS at 8:00.

How will we bring her back? With great difficulty, of course. And pain and confusion. Will it be cheezy? I don't think so. (I've loved some of the theories here on how it might be done.) The fact is, we've had most of next season planned before we ever shot this ep. Same writers you know, same actors you love, same crappy little warehouse we've been shooting in for five years... Different network. But we've never been controlled by the network -- WB was great about that, UPN has already shown they will be too. The only difference is that Marti will share exec prod credit with me, and it's about time she did. I'm in charge.

Okay, that's a lie. The STORY is in charge, the story that keeps on speaking to me, that says there is much more to tell about all these characters. An ensemble this brilliant could easily carry the show even without the Slayer -- but the fact is, even though she reached some beauty closure, Buffy's story isn't over. When it is, I'll know. And we'll stop. Til then, have faith. (not faith the character -- she's making movies and stuff.)

Well, I've barely watched the last couple of seasons. I think this season I watched the first two - got regular updates from a friend and I've seen the last 4 or 5 (oh and a friend taped the episode where they explained the origins of Spike, Angel and Co - probably the best episode of the series).

Thank god Ch7 moved the show back to 9:30 for the last couple of weeks. I can't understand why its usually on so late - more people watch it than half the crap they show.

Angel is utter crap. Cordellia is enough to piss anyone off. How long can someone continue to be such a dumb bimbo for????

I miss the vampires - its just not the same nowadays without them.

Whatever happened to the hellmouth? Can't really remember, did that close up around the time they graduated from school?

BTW I loved Spikes reaction to her death - he was utterly devastated!
 
Okay, I've heard that Buffy gets a whole season off but will be back. Good old Angel comes to the rescue! (Big suprise there!) Although haven't heard how she comes back. But if Angel can go through years of hell to get back, then I'm sure he'll find a way!

Although it makes me wonder with the new series "The Watcher" (gee, guess the lead star of that), coming out, who will be left in the original Buffy cast.

I luv Spike. he's the best. But I couldn't watch him break down like that. He made me sad.

I didn't think the Glory character was all that good either. She has the same acting abilities in Buffy as she does in "Bring it on"...none!

I don't know what everyone has against Angel. Since he's gone through his apithany (you know, where he slept with Darla and nothing happened), he's been quite funny. Cordelia has her moments, and Wesley & Gunn have produced some funny scenes. I still think they should find a way to bring Doyle back though, he was the best!

There you go, my idea for the next spin-off: Dolye, Spike and Faith. We'll call it: "Three of a kind"? "Last Rights"? "Outcasts"? Uh, I'd watch it just because it had those three in it!
 
I won't be too devasted if Buffy doesn't come back, after they gave Angel his own show I didn't mind missing the occasional Buffy, but NEVER missed Angel.

xbinney I thinks Spike is great as well, they should give him his own show.:D
 
As I've said, I don't watch Angel, however a friend was telling me that Willow appeared in the final episode - so obviously he's going to be the one to bring her back!

I read somewhere a few months back that Giles was going to leave because Buffy no longer needs him - great, another bloody spin-off!
 
I just can't stand Angel, that whole dark, moody thing he's got going there, what a boring show, IMO.

Having said that, I know why I'm watching Buffy and why most of the females are watching Angel. :)

You certainly do a good job of that Sly, just be yourself, you don't have to watch Angel just cause everyone else is watching it, stick with the Buffster!! :)

I actually missed the first season of Buffy as I didn't want to see a TV show based off a movie that I actually liked a fair bit. But I caught up on that series, and have been an avid watcher ever since! Same with Angel. Forgive me if they make decent episodes of Angel too!

"The watcher": now there's an idea I won't be able to get enough of! Ha! But I can't wait to see his stage show if it comes out to Oz!

Oh and one more question for Buffy fans: Is Giles in Grease 2? Remember when they're in the classroom singing about reproduction and a new teacher comes in? I swear that is him. If anyone else has picked up on that, let me know. It's killing me! :D

Forgive me xbinny, I didn't mean to imply you were a sheep, but I haven't seen a decent episode of Angel ever, I saw the first 3 and found myself falling asleep half way through. Thank goodness the tv has a sleep timer. :)

And you must be joking, Angel actually smiles now?? Get out of here!! I remember thinking why would Buffy would be interested in such a morose, temperamental, gloomy character in the first place. I mean if you look beyond the biceps, the tall physique, the broad shoulders, what do you have?? Zilch. But it's good to hear he's lightening up. :)

Yep he smiles, and makes silly little jokes that no-one else gets, and he's really quite funny. But he definately can't sing! And what's with the songs he chooses? Mandy?

I agree with you that the first couple of episodes were pretty crappy, but I felt they were on to a good thing, so I perservered. I mean, they've made their fair share of boring Buffy episodes. Ah! Blasphamy! :D

Buffy's soulmate?? Well, I reckon that was a bit dodgy but maybe that's just me being jealous. :)

As for his choice of song, Mandy, I think that's the old Barry Manilow classic, very strange choice that one :)

And I totally agree, not all Buffy episodes are great, but I stuck with it because.....well...... the storyline isn't the only thing that keeps me watching it. :)

I don't mind the odd Angel episode either, mainly when Buffy crosses over into it. They should do that more often. And then maybe Buffy could bring Spike, and Angel and Spike could fight to the death for her, with Spike winning........

There is actually a site where people can send in scripts that they've written for Buffy and Angel! Shocker huh? I don't know the address, but one of my friends wrote about 3 episodes of Angel, and they were pretty good. He's a huge vampire freak! Although, he refuses to watch Buffy! Doesn't like it one bit!

I don't think the scripts actually get used though. Well, his haven't anyway. And I'm pretty sure they'd have the whole season mapped out.

The man's eyes! uh! Don't care if they were contacts! I think he'll have to be revisited sometime later on in the next series! Otherwise all will not be good in the land of Binny!

But if Cordy had of stayed, then she would have mated (you know she would have), and then she would lose her powers! And if you think about it, if she did that, my question put forth to you is, would the Gruselog have to kill her still? Could he kill her still?

It was so funny when Angel thought Cordy was saying she loved him! Funny funny stuff! :D

Send in your own scripts?? Sounds kind of cool!! What happened in your friend's scripts?? I'd never take the time out to write a whole episode, but I reckon it might be a good idea to be able to submit your own ideas for the show, bit of viewer interactment. Kind of like 'Just Shoot Me' with the 3 alternate endings. :)

I might just write to the show and offer my Spike-Angel showdown storyline, for a small sum of money I'd definitely be willing to part with my idea. :D
 
It's something like Angel fan fiction. I've just e-mailed my friends girlfriend, but she may not be at work still, so you may have to wait until tomorrow. Hopefully she is still there!

First you'll have to bring Buffy back somehow so they can have their showdown. But good luck with that! :D

I'll let you know the address as soon as she sends it!
