Final Fantasy was one of the killer app's that strongly helped my decision to buy a PS3, I think we are going to see a very big change in sales leading up to this. But that is just bullshit.

I can't believe it, tears are actually streaming down my face, wetting the keyboard. My mom came in the room because of my crying and didn't understand why this would affect me so much, so I shouted and locked the door. My grandma died 2 months ago and the pain I am suffering right now is ten times worse, I seriously feel dead inside.

FF13 is still an exclusive to the PS3 in Japan and will be released a while before worldwide release as well.

According to Kotaku, Square Enix exec Shinji Hashimoto told reporters: "I think you are right [in assuming that (the Xbox 360 version) is not coming out in Japan.]" It will only appear on Xbox 360 in English-speaking territories.

BTW money speaks louder than friendship and obviously Square Enix saw too much in the sales the game will make on 1 console compared to 2.

Also, Final Fantasy Versus XIII is still in development as a PS3 exclusive.

Mostly for the fact that the posters on Sony forums (kindly posted by Doris) are acting like the sky is falling down, even though they still are getting the game.

How does its availability on other machines ruin their enjoyment of the game? Seems a very childish and spiteful attitude to have.

I'm just asking why LLD is posting anything to do with FF13, it has already been stated that he hates FF and anything to do with it, so therefore this decision does not affect him whatsoever.

Not really meaning how it is affecting him personally, I'm just saying the decision won't change his gaming experience at all, unless he suddenly likes FF, which would seriously give merit to our 'LLD is a massive 360 fanboy theory'.

I agree 100% with that comment though, I personally won't be affected, I own a PS3, the game will be coming out on the PS3 no matter what, and if I even choose to buy it, I'd probably be lost in the game as I have never played or even seen a FF game in action before, plus I am not a big fan of RPG's.

that's what made me lmao.....i mean...they still can and will play the game...but they've actually CRIED because it went to another console bwahahaha!

i'm personally happy for people who can only afford one console and want this game (if their choice was 360) and now can have it

From what it looks like and what has been said the answer is absolutley not, however nobody knows what can and will happen.

My guess would be that it won't come out on the XBOX 360, but if it were to I would think around about 2 years would be the time it would come out from when MGS4 was released.

Always a chance. Not a first party game, and Sony said before it was released that they would understand if Konami decided to go multi. All depends on sales figures over the next couple of months I would say.

I dunno..... metal gear solid sales hasn't been as spectacular as the first few days promised to be.....especially in Japan.

we'll see more when the NPD releases the america sales results.
