I went to Spirit house with my bestie this week, for a cooking morning. (culminating in lunch). Menu was amazing.

• Gohu of Hervey Bay Scallops, Coconut Cream, Peanuts
• Leader Prawns with Green Nahm Jim Butter
• Kao Ka Ped, Slow Braised Duck, Pickled Mustard Green, Chilli Vinegar
• Steamed Chinese Broccoli with Ginger & Sesame
• Tamarind Panacota burned orange and honeycomb

Hmmm, aged steaks with very aged red wine is the go for me...

We had party last weekend with Webber cooked pork spare ribs & 2x 20+ year old reds.

After a smorgasbord of cheeses with aged whites.

Life is good.

First one tonight is a Trumer Pils copy, next is a Bira Moretti and I have a few other lagers to go after that. I kinda decided to do it as a hobby and kinda spent second-hand car money setting it up. I struggle to drink commercial beer these days, really good independent brews on tap give me competition, some have me over the barrel but I reckon I have most covered.

I really like lagers or pilsners, so that is what I do. I still do the odd Pale Ale, Session Ale but 90% is lagers.

Surprisingly, it goes very well with Pizza
