Did any members here get a letter in the mail from the Geelong Footy Club bout the way of purchasing tickets & Grand Final Tickets?? Cos i dont really know what they mean bout the way of purchasing Granny Tickets ( If we do make it)

Pretty much there is a random ballot for grand final tickets.

Full Social Club members, and september members are guaranteed tickets, but you have to register before the deadline.

For all other ordinary members you need to register in another time. They will be randomly drawn by a computer.

I assume the club auto allocates your seats, so then all you do is go onto the Ticketmaster site and put in your number and buy it.

Yep but the first one on the list has to have a credit card in their name. That's the way that I understand it.
I have 2 kids tickets to register but can't because neither have a credit card, naturaly. I have Sep. Membership so mine goes in the other draw.

It's going to be sadfor alot of people if we make it and they cant get tickets but i think the club would have to put somthing on at KP surly a bigger screen ?

No, reading the letter from the GFC, you can book up to eight tickets together in the random ballot, you then put your receipt number in on the day the tickets go on sale and see if you were successful.

For non members it's Wednesday at 9am unless you can borrow an unused barcode. I don't think it will be a sellout so you could probably just rock up Sunday.
