After three consecutive 2 - 0 losses in the league, the Saints have finally had a win.

Even if it was against 2nd Division side Brighton, it is a welcome to relief to play some good football and actually finish it off with a goal.

After losing the grudge match against Tottenham last week, the win was badly needed to restore some confidence.

Well done to Anders Svensson for scoring 2 goals and James Beattie with the other. It would be great if Beattie can recapture some of his form from last year. And good to see a young Aussie in Scott McDonald make his debut. He only turned 18 3 weeks ago so its a good effort. Combined with Justin Koschitzke, the Saints are on the march. :D
